Quentin is Marissa's big bro, affectionately called "Fool". While he's a man of few words, Marissa has always appreciated his support through all of life's ups and downs in the way only a sibling can. They share a forever love of all things Disney, Star Wars and Harry Potter... Quentin may be the biggest Disney fan you will ever meet! They share the bond of childhood TGIF and movie nights along with years of memories shared in Hawaii. She loves that he is a eternal kid at heart and has loved watching him become a father. On most days you can expect that he is working on a yard project, grilling in the Summer and taking his daughter, Azalea to the park. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife Nicole, and they are expecting a boy this July!
Kwame Som-Pimpong

Kwame and Peter played football together at Davidson. Both linebackers and two lockers apart, it's not surprising that #45 and #47 became friends. Kwamz is a man of resolve, discipline, and a hearty laugh. He is a man of many talents and interests, and thrives in connecting the dots between people and ideas. It's always fun to learn and laugh with Kwame, and was well exemplified in their brunch podcast "radio show" with JR. 26 episodes of wisdom and fun! Peter feels blessed to have Kwame's friendship through significant ups and downs, and is especially honored to be Anna Olivia's (Kwame's daughter) godfather. Kwame lives in Washington, DC, and is engaged to be married to Maame Boakye.
Kayla Hatch

Kayla is Marissa's baby cousin and the closest thing she has to a little sister! Marissa has loved watching Kayla grow up from her granny num num sweater days to becoming the chic world traveler she is today. You can count on Kayla to drop everything for a Disneyland trip and Marissa loves her for it! One of Marissa's favorite trips is when Kayla joined the Flores fam to London. They will forever love high tea and Tunnocks! Kayla lives in Seattle with her partner Daren but you may catch her in the skies with Alaska Airlines!
JR Watkins
Groomsman
JR and Peter met as hallmates on Davidson's 3rd Belk and later roomed together, where you would see their beds oriented hotel-style with matching comforters. JR could be found sleeping in a polo shirt and rising with top-rate exuberance and principle each morning. After Davidson, JR's winding path led him to DC. He, Peter, and Kwame restarted JR's radio show, The Leisure Hour, with free-wheeling conversation and huge tunes. JR is an excellent golfer, tennis player, Buick driver, tour guide, and overall human. He currently resides in Detroit, Michigan, where he is engaged to be married to Caroline Sweeney.
Kinsey Davis

Nothing bonds a friendship like a trip to Italy! Kinsey and Marissa met at Starbucks. They were on the same team and became friends over many a lunch date. Kinsey is the coolest person Marissa knows. She keeps her feeling young and hip and makes her feel like she's in the know. Kinsey is as beautiful on the inside as she is out. She has been an amazing support through Marissa's 30s and she is so lucky to have met her. She looks forward to more wine, pasta and girls trips in the future... but still won't ride a moped again. Kinsey lives in Seattle with her partner Eric.
Margaret Bakke

Margaret arrived on the planet 18 months before Peter, so they are practically twins. Peter attributes much of his understanding of the world to Margaret's tutelage-- that woman's perspective is crucial! They developed a close bond moving into adulthood and have been going on adventures for many years now. Peter can always count on Margaret for open sharing, in-depth conversations about family, art, and how to live. She is an amazing person and sister! Margaret has three children, Estella, Astrid, and Mars with her husband Jesus in Arlington, Virginia.
Diane Christianson

Diane has been one of the greatest discoveries of Marissa's Seattle life. They lived together with Kendra through their early 20s and the three of them had some unforgettable years together living the epitome of single lady life. She makes a mean piña colada and Marissa cherishes the times when they would binge watch tv together and how they lived without structure navigating the space between evolving from girls to women. Diane is now married to James and is a mother to 2 beautiful girls, Ellie and Mia.
Dennis Bakke

Dennis is the best older brother you could ask for! He always brought Peter along, making their 4 year age difference seem small. Dennis is the go-to in the family for organizing games, explaining history, or exploring random trivial knowledge. Peter spent many hours playing competitive, trivial (just kidding they were very important) games with Dennis, keeping brains sharp. He has also paved the way in the family in his outspoken individuality, and Peter always appreciates chopping it up with him. Dennis lives in Arlington with Whitney and their 3 boys Markus, Khoury, and Brekken.
Kendra Franey

Kendra has the magical gift to bring all the joy and happiness into any space she enters... she may attribute it to her "fun face" aka that big beautiful smile! Marissa met Kendra through some fun family connections. Her brother coached Marissa's cousin in soccer and Marissa met her in the bleachers! They can both still remember meeting again a few days later at Chopstix (a piano bar) and their friendship fate was sealed. With Diane, the three of them lived in her favorite Queen Anne apartment and bonded over their shared love of Taylor Swift. Kendra now lives in Sacramento with her husband Danny and their baby Rylan, who has inherited Kendra's great smile.
Brian Scullin

Football brought Brian and Peter together in high school-- they carpooled, trained, and won and lost together. Peter can attribute his success in football to the accountability and consistency of training with Brian-- and those qualities continue to this day. Brian is one of the most disciplined and good-humored people you will ever meet. He can make anything fun! Peter has so many small, ridiculous memories from times with Brian (although we are forgetting fast), and they pretty much always involve his lighthearted, quirky sense of humor. Brian lives in Arizona with his wife Shannon and their children Delaney and Finnian.
Kate Johnson

Kate and Marissa met at IU through their sorority, Alpha Phi, and remains to be one of her lifetime soulmates. Marissa can still remember Kate sending out and email as a freshman, trying to get people to cycle with her as she watched "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". At the time, Marissa ignored, it, but the next year she connected with Kate and realized she was sorely missing out. Kate is one of the most honest, loving friends. She is the only friend who can relate to the struggle chopping their hair off and growing it back (multiple times). They got their first bad tattoos together when they were 21. She now lives in Portland with her husband Kiel and their magical daughter Lulu.
Kevin Turner

Kevin and Peter met in high school, where Kevin quickly stood apart from others with his many gifts and humility. They became friends, sharing classes and playing in the Jazz Band together. Kevin has helped Peter appreciate the finer details in life that can make you yelp in joy-- A beautiful musical filigree, a bite of delicious food, a serendipitous moment. Their friendship has only gotten stronger with time, but get them in the same space and they will undoubtedly start nerding out over something musical. While Peter is an appreciator, Kevin actually creates magic with sounds. Look out for him on the big stage. He and Brittany live in Dallas with their four children Anaiyah, Aiyanna, Jovie, and David.

Lauren is Marissa's cousin who she affectionately calls "Terd". She can't remember how it began, but she won't ever let it go (sorry Terd)! It is no surprise that Lauren became a teacher as she always wanted to play school when they were kids. Although she is married and fully adulting, Marissa will forever think of Lauren as her young, bubbly childlike self. She is kind and fun, loves to sing and dance to pop songs and Marissa can't wait to see her on the dance floor! She lives in Lynwood with her husband Travis and their son Liam.
Max Meyers

Max and Peter have been friends since high school, where they played together in the Jazz Band and overlapped in numerous classes. Peter could not help but be drawn to Max's interplay of thoughtfulness and irreverence. Max has the ability to convince you of almost anything, and make fun of you without you realizing it, but most of the time he uses his powers for good! Through the years, Peter has continued to enjoy puttering around Max's brain, which is a fast-paced, idiosyncratic, sincere, and often hilarious place to be. You never know where the conversations will go! Max lives in Alexandria with Abby and their children Liam, Tess, and Nina.

Missy is Marissa's forever "Mom"...her sorority Mom that is! She is really the only reason that Marissa joined a sorority in the first place! They met in ballet class at IU and Marissa immediately recognized that Missy was the best. She is so thankful for their time living in the tiny closet and thanks Missy for letting her use her ID. Clearly at at 5" height difference, they look the same right? Missy inspired Marissa grow into the confident, independent woman she is. They will forever be connected through their love of ballet and the arts. Missy lives in New York and is engaged to Sean Rumrill.
Maxime Paulhus Gosselin

Max and Peter met as next door neighbors as Freshman at Davidson. They shared the athlete experience, Max being a defensive phenom for the basketball team (which, alongside Stephen Curry, competed in the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament). Max savors life with excitement and aplomb-- spending time with him will almost guarantee you and adventure and a good story. Just ask Max or Peter about their canoe descent of the Missisquoi Nord with no more than a tarp and block of cheese. Maxime and Peter enjoy learning, experiencing the wonders of this planet, and thinking about how to live well. He lives in Montreal with Evelyne and their son Victor.
