We would love for our guests to experience all Ojai has to offer and see why we fell in love with this gem of a town. If you can squeeze in a visit to Taft Gardens or check out some of our favorite restaurants between pool lounging we'd be thrilled. The town is full of small independent shops that vary from fun souvenirs to some beautiful curated art. This is totally up to you! We would love to have you join us for the official rehearsal dinner on Friday night, but we will plan to be in Ojai starting Wednesday if you make it up earlier! We also understand that some guests will not be able to make it up until Saturday and we completely understand. More to come- but we will have a shuttle service to the venue so we will keep you updated on pick up locations and timing.
We're going with our interpretation of California Summer Formal... which means to wear something beautiful that you would wear to a "black tie optional" wedding with a summer twist. Think elevated cocktail versus sun-dresses and suits with ties... We envision this evening as an elegant affair and encourage our guests to dress for a magical evening. One other thing to note is that the terrain at the venue is slightly uneven and therefore we encourage ladies wearing heels to wear heels with a block heel, wedge or flat sandals.
Unfortunately due to space limitations, we are having an adults-only celebration. The only children attending are those who are part of our immediate family. For those bringing their kids to California, we suggest looking at care.com or thebabysittingcompany.com for sitters in the area. Thank you for understanding!
