Airbnbs are limited in the Ojai area but could be a great option for multiple families to share. If Ojai area is not available, Ventura is a quick 20 mins away!
Flight
Ojai is about a 40 min drive south from downtown Santa Barbara. If you are looking to keep the logistics to a minimum and reduce overall travel time, there are several major airlines that fly into Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) - including United, American, Alaskan, and Sun Country. Flights from most Midwest and East Coast cities do have at least one stop, but flying straight into SBA is a great option and will allow you to maximize your time in the Santa Barbara/Ojai area.
Flight
LAX is about 1.5 hours south of Ojai. Keeping it honest, LAX is a big airport and although there are direct flights, you also will spend more time getting in an out of the airport. But if you have some extra time, we suggest taking the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH or the 1), which is gorgeous and happens to be the route we travelled on our first trip together to Big Sur. Beautiful views the whole way!
