All Trails says it's a loop that is 6.6 miles with 1,092ft of elevation gain and takes around 3 hours. Don't recommend doing this hike before the wedding but is a very beautiful hike through the woods.
Minnesota's only black sand beach. The directions are a little weird so make sure to just keep going until to see all the cars parked at the very end turn around.
This is a beautiful view of Lake Superior and if the gate is open, you can drive right up the very narrow road up to the top. There is limited parking but should be room to turn around if no parking available.

Fun ride around the bike trails and up to Carlton Peak if you want a more difficult adventure. This is also connected with the Schroeder Short Stop to get a beer after.
