Wedding Ceremony

Garden Party Formal
Garden party formal is florals and or bright Spring/Summer colors. Please be mindful that the ceremony will be on grass and after you will have access to our rocky beach cove. The ceremony is outside by Lake Superior, so the weather can be unpredictable. Please prepare by watching the weather and if necessary, bring an umbrella and or a jacket. Parking will be offsite at 9327 W Hwy 61 Schroeder, MN 55613 and shuttled in up to 10 min before the ceremony starts with a short pause until the ceremony is over. Then again until after the reception. Our dogs Finley and Kelso will be involved with the ceremony. Please be mindful that they may not know who you are and could be a little more stressed than usual. Finley knows my cousins kids but may not know yours, so please do not pet unless you ask.

There will be a few light snacks including Cody's venison sausage with cheese and crackers. The bar will open at this time.

We wanted to keep the tradition with our Norwegian homestead wedding, so our main course will be Grandma Marion's homemade fishcakes with her tartar sauce. The alternative will be pulled pork/chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with the option of making it a sandwich instead. Side of strawberry cashew salad.
