While we love everyone's kiddos, this is an adults-only ceremony and reception. Please arrange for a sitter and enjoy a night out to celebrate in the adult fun! If you are traveling and need a sitter, please look into www.care.com for reputable wedding day/night sitters.
Yes we do! We are registered right through our website, Zola! Please click on the top tab labeled "Honeymoon Registry" for options to provide a gift toward our dream honeymoon in Bora Bora!
At this time all restrictions at this venue have been lifted. Guests are not required to wear masks, although they can if they wish to. Dancing and indoor dining has also been reinstated - so get ready to dance!
The earliest guests can arrive to the venue is 3pm. If anyone arrives between 3:30pm and 4pm, they will be asked to wait downstairs until the conclusion of the ceremony.
The event ends at 9pm and all guests must be off the venue property by 9:30pm.
We only have room for the people we know and love, so unless your invitation indicates, a plus one will not be accommodated.
Black tie optional / semi-formal. Please do not wear jeans, shorts, hoodies, etc. If any further clarification is needed, please ask us!
We ask that no one wear white, please! This includes anything that resembles white or off-white.
Yes! There will be a money dance, so if you wish, please bring cash to participate in this tradition with the bride and groom and make it rain!
This event will be a hosted bar for the first 4 hours, with the last hour being a cash bar - offering beer, wine, liquor and a champagne toast. No shots or neat drinks are allowed. The bar closes 30 minutes prior to the end of the event, at 9pm. Please bring cash to tip the bartender.
We kindly ask that all cell phones, iPads, and any other recording devices be turned off and put away during the ceremony. We want everyone present in the moment with us and promise to share all of the professional pictures later! If you want to take photos and video during the reception, we encourage it!
There is a large parking lot at the venue, so if you need to drive, there is plenty of space. The venue also validates parking for weddings, so there is no charge.
Yes! There are games on the rooftop such as Jenga, Connect 4 and corn hole. We will have a DJ during cocktail hour and for the entirety of the reception. The DJ and bar conclude at 9pm.
We highly suggest using Uber or Lyft for your travel needs. If you are staying at the Sheraton Bay Front or The Hilton San Diego Airport, both are within walking distance to the venue. If you are flying in, you can book a rental car in advance at the San Diego Airport as well.
Please view our "Travel" page with a list of the closest hotels partnered with the venue to stay in. San Diego also offers Air BNB as an option outside of staying in a hotel.
We are staying in an Airbnb in Hillcrest (outside of Downtown San Diego) and about 15 minutes from the venue. The night of the wedding only, we are staying at The Sofia Hotel.
We will be in San Diego from Monday 11/29 to Sunday 12/05.
We will be serving dinner as "small plate" style. There will be three passed appetizers prior to dinner and multiple entrees to choose from. Dinner will be available for an hour and a half with the option to get as many plates as desired.
No sparklers or confetti are allowed at the venue.
We will have two dessert stations for you to enjoy, however we will not be serving a traditional wedding cake.
No - we opted not to do a room block. The two closest hotels are the Sheraton Bay Front and The Hilton San Diego Airport. If those are not available, there are also hotels in Liberty Station that are close to the venue and the option for Airbnb. A large group of guests have independently booked rooms in Gaslamp at The Sofia Hotel.
The adobo carnitas taco appetizer is gluten free and the risotto stuffed mushrooms are vegan. The flat iron steak and salmon are gluten free entrees. If you have a vegan/vegetarian food restriction, please let us know in advance so we can make sure you can be accommodated at dinner.
Yes. There is a small designated area on the far side of the outside patio. Please make sure to look for signage or ask to ensure you are not smoking in a restricted area.
