The Durango airport will unfortunately be closed from 9/7-9/16. We found out about this closure at a point where it was too late for us to change contracts etc. I apologize for the inconvenience, but if you do decide to make the trip there are a few options for you. The Albuquerque airport is a good option and is 3.5 hours to Durango. Cortez airport is also an option, and is 45 min to Durango, however, it is a VERY small airport and you can only book flights 3 months out. Lastly, Denver airport is 6 hours to Durango but has the most direct flights and is a beautiful drive. Pick your poison. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns about any of this!

Travel Note

AirB&B Information

We suggest booking through AirB&B. The hotels in Durango can get pretty expensive and renting an AirB&B seems be the more affordable option. However, there are many hotel options to choose from.
