Attire: Comfy clothes, hiking footwear, and a warm layer (it can be windy at the summit)
For those of you who just want to do the hike we will meet the the summit of Coal Bank Pass (Engineer Mountain Trailhead) around 10am. The hike is about 7 miles round trip, with just over 2,300 feet of elevation gain, summit is just under 13,000 feet, and has one class 4 technical section that is exposed. Bring water and a snack. 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Attire: Comfy clothes and shoes that will stay on your feet.
The day of the wedding we will be having a picnic at our house. There will be sandwiches, beer, lemonade, and games galore! Our house is about 20 minutes outside of town and we have limited parking so please carpool if possible.
4:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Attire: Durango formal. This means dress nice but be comfortable.
The ceremony will be at the Fort Lewis College chapel on the west side of Rim road. Please park in the lot across the street from the chapel. Bathrooms are located in the Sitter Family Hall across from the parking lot. **We will be taking photos BEFORE the ceremony so please arrive at 4pm. The ceremony will start at 5pm. If you have small kiddos that become disruptive during the ceremony please step out as the chapel is a small intimate space that carries sound very well. Dinner will be served family style with options for those who are gluten free, vegan etc. Food is being provided by food trucks so there will be a variety of food to choose from including pizza, salad, sliders, grain bowls, and more! We will also have cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. After dinner we will have dessert and dancing!
