Casual Attire: Wear whatever you’d like.
An opportunity to kick-off the wedding festivities & welcome you to Mérida. There will be an open bar provided during the first couple hours of the event and then will be transitioning to bar service. Cash and cards will be accepted. Food is available for purchase as well. Aside from being a restaurant and cocktail bar, Salón Gallos doubles as an art gallery and cinema situated in an old oat mill. We chose this location not only because the food and drinks are great, but because viewing art exhibitions and watching international films are two of our favorite things to do together. You must try the tacos and mezcalitas!
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Semi-Formal/Tropical: Suits and cocktail dresses/gowns are preferred, but lightweight fabrics are recommended. Bright colors are encouraged. Men may opt for a jacket/blazer with dress pants, but ties aren't necessary. Please don't wear shorts, khakis, or flip flops.
Transportation will be provided to the ceremony from Mérida. The shuttle will be stopping at four different hotels/pick-up locations and the shuttle service will start bringing guests to the venue at 3:30pm. Additional details will be provided. Please note that guests arriving after 4:30pm will not be admitted to the ceremony. The ceremony will be taking place outdoors in grass.

La Tornaboda is a Mexican wedding tradition; a gathering of close friends and family that takes place after the larger wedding reception. We're hosting a poolside brunch to spend more time with you all. Expect micheladas and carne asada. Maybe leftover cake? Please note that transportation will NOT be provided for this event from Mérida, but we can help arrange transportation for you and/or may be able to pick you up with one of our rental vehicles. Please contact us prior to the wedding weekend for more information.
