Centre College
The place where it all began... Maddie and Ed shared the first 3 years of their relationship here. Whether it was pulling all-nighters in Cowan to write papers, attending Beta/Kappa events, or academic debate in Haskett's class, Maddie and Ed did it all together. Without Centre, who knows were they would be. Centre College is a small, liberal arts college located in the heart of Danville, Kentucky. With the motto of "learning is the light of the mind", Centre College prioritizes an approach of deep engagement, curiosity, and diversity to academic study. When you're on campus, it feels as though you have been transported to another world. It is truly a magical place.
Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
Home to the third largest Shaker community during the 19th century and spanning across 3,000 acres, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is the largest National Historic Landmark in Kentucky.
