Maddie and Ed's story began in the summer of 2015, just before their senior year of high school, at a photography camp at Western Kentucky University. But while they crossed paths then, it would be a few more years before any sparks started to fly... Their journey truly began when they reconnected as sophomores at Centre College. What started as casual hangouts quickly became a lasting bond, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the past seven years, Maddie and Ed have experienced it all—supporting each other through college, embarking on adventures, navigating life's changes, and learning to cohabit as adults. Through every high and low, one thing has remained constant: their shared commitment to communication, connection, presence, joy, and fun. Whether hiking scenic trails or binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy, Maddie and Ed have always found comfort and support in one another’s company. Calling each other their "person," it’s always been clear what they mean to each other. Together, they share a love for creating art, cooking delicious meals, hosting gatherings with friends, spending time outdoors, trying new activities, and unwinding at home with their two cats, Juniper and Cricket. It’s been a long time coming, and they’re beyond excited to celebrate their special day with each of you.
