Even when Frankie moved from Minnesota to Texas for high school, distance never got in the way. They stayed in constant contact, making time for calls, texts, and yearly trips to see one another. In fact, visits became such a treasured tradition that it hardly mattered which state they were in. Wherever they were together, it felt like home. Over the years, their bond only grew stronger, and it was clear from the start that they weren’t just best friends, they were chosen sisters.

Joseph Meyer has been a steady presence in Dan’s life for many years. Their friendship first began thanks to a family connection: Joe served in Iraq alongside Dan’s older brother, Mitch. When Joe returned home and enrolled at St. Cloud State, he moved in with Dan, and the rest is history. During their college years, Dan and Joe became especially close. They decided to tackle the accounting program together, pushing each other through the long nights of studying and celebrating when they graduated side by side. What started as roommates quickly grew into a lifelong bond. Joe has always been the friend who shows up - no matter where life has taken Dan, Joe made the effort to visit, support, and stay connected. Over time, their friendship deepened into something that felt more like family. To Dan, Joe isn’t just a best friend, he’s an older brother in every way that matters.

Dan and Lybang's daughter. Lily was the girl that Lybang always dreamed of having. If you want to be friends with Lily, just offer her food of any kind. Girl can eat!
Gabriel Arnet
Ring Bearer
Dan and Lybang's son. Gabriel's middle name is Dang, in honor of Lybang's late older brother. Gabriel is named after the Angel Gabriel in the Bible.
