Our reception will feature dishes from both Sanjusan and Kado no Mise.
Chef Shigeyuki Furukawa, owner of Kado no Mise/Sanjusan, is a master of refined Japanese cuisine. Classically trained in Tokyo and Kyoto, he specializes in kaiseki—an elevated, seasonal dining tradition defined by precision, balance, and artistry. His work has earned national acclaim from the James Beard Foundation, and he is the only James Beard Award finalist in Minnesota this year!
We're honored to have Shige personally curate a sushi selection for those who choose sushi as their main course.
Located in the same building as Kado no Mise, Sanjusan offers a more modern and playful take on Japanese cuisine. Blending traditional techniques with contemporary flavors, Sanjusan is known for its vibrant dishes, creative small plates, and thoughtfully crafted menu.
We’re excited to share offerings from Sanjusan as part of our celebration, complementing the evening’s dining experience.
Kindly RSVP by July 5th.
