Cocktail attire, please. Since the ceremony will take place in a Catholic church, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of modesty. After that, feel free to enjoy the reception in the same outfit or change into something more loose/revealing—whatever helps you feel comfortable and celebratory!
If "and guest" is written on your wedding invitation, you may bring a guest. Otherwise, the name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed/addressed on your invitation or listed when you RSVP.
Children are welcome at our wedding ceremony in the Catholic Church in Maple Grove. The reception and after party are for adults only. Thank you for understanding.
Our reception dinner will highlight mostly seafood. Both Kado no Mise and Sanjusan are among the most reputable restaurants in the Twin Cities, so be assured that the quality of food will be top-notch! The rooftop after-party at the Hewing Hotel will include meat offerings: such as beef tartare, pork belly, fried chicken sliders, and lamb chops, among other selections. If there's one thing to know about the Bride, she will ensure you will not leave the celebration hungry!
Kindly RSVP by July 5th, 2026.
Ceremony will be indoors at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Reception dinner will be indoors on the 4th floor of the Sanjusan building in Minneapolis. Rooftop After Party at the Hewing Hotel is both indoors and outdoors.
Free parking will be available at the ceremony. Parking meters, ramps, and valet will be available for those attending the reception dinner and rooftop after party.
We ask that you arrive to the ceremony with enough time to park and find a seat before the start of mass. 15-20 minutes prior to start time should be sufficient. Please plan accordingly so you don't have to walk in late.
We request for our ceremony to be unplugged, as our wedding mass is a time of reverence. If any photos are taken and shared, we ask that pictures of our children's faces stay off social media. Thank you for your understanding.
You can either walk in the communion line with others and cross your arms over your chest in an "X" formation to receive a blessing, or quietly remain in your pew. If you are not Catholic, you should not receive communion. We do not ask you to share our beliefs, but we do ask you to recognize this tradition's importance for us and be respectful.
Yes, the Catholic Church, reception restaurant, and the Hewing Hotel Rooftop are handicap accessible, including being wheelchair-friendly.
