Wedding Day Shuttle

We will provide shuttle transportation between select hotels and the wedding venue on the wedding day. If you are taking a shuttle, please meet it outside the hotel promptly. Our shuttles will have a "Dawson / Scapin Wedding" sign. 2:15p – Tru Hotel shuttle pick-up 2:30p – SpringHill & Lansdowne* shuttles pick-up 9:15p – Early shuttle back to all hotels starts boarding at the wedding venue 10:30p – Remaining shuttles back to all hotels start boarding at the wedding venue *The shuttle pick-up location at Lansdowne is between the front entrance traffic circle and the front parking lot.

Lansdowne Resort

This is where we'll be having our evening-before welcome party and morning-after Mother's Day breakfast. The resort is a 20 minute drive to the wedding venue and a 15 minute drive to Dulles Airport. We highly recommend staying here! Our hotel block at this location is now full and we are not able to add more rooms at below market rates, so please book directly with Lansdowne Resort. Guests of Lansdowne also have access to an airport shuttle service. From/to Dulles is advertised at $35 per person each way (note: Uber and Lyft may be more cost effective). Located an 8 minute drive to the welcome event and Mother's Day brunch, a 20 minute drive to the wedding venue, and a 15 minute drive to Dulles Airport, this is the most convenient Marriott option for the wedding weekend. Our hotel block at this location is no longer available, so please book directly with SpringHill Suites. Tru by Hilton Ashburn One Loudoun

Tru by Hilton is another convenient option for the wedding weekend: a 10 minute drive to the welcome event and Mother's Day brunch, a 20 minute drive to the wedding venue, and a 15 minute drive to Dulles Airport. It's located in the One Loudoun shopping center, which also houses an Alamo Drafthouse movie theatre, Trader Joe's, and a number of shops, restaurants, and bars. Our hotel block at this location is no longer available, so please book directly with Tru. Flight

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles Airport is the most convenient airport for the wedding venue and hotel blocks. It's ~20 minutes to downtown Leesburg, VA, and ~25 minutes to the wedding venue. Dulles offers direct flights to/from many locations domestically, including Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco, as well as flights internationally, especially several nonstop options to/from Europe.

Flight

Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Reagan National is very convenient to Washington, D.C., and is ~45 minutes to 1.5 hours from Leesburg, VA, depending on traffic. It's a great option if you wish to explore Washington: the airport has a Metro stop about 25 minutes from the White House and is a less than 10 minute drive to the city.

Flight

Baltimore / Washington International Airport (BWI)

BWI is the least convenient airport of the three for the wedding weekend, but can be a good option if you wish to explore the Baltimore area in addition to Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. With typical traffic, it can take 1.5-2 hours to travel between downtown Leesburg, VA, and BWI.

Cab Information

Lyft and Uber availability can be sporadic in Leesburg and the more western parts of Loudoun County, VA, area. Note, they are typically aplenty at Dulles Airport.
