Cocktail Attire/Semi-Formal. Be sure to bring those dancing shoes! [Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on grass]
There are four basic options for travel to our wedding. See the TRAVEL tab for all links and details. For those without time to spare, consider the most direct option: Seaplane travel from Seattle to Eastsound with Kenmore Air. For those looking for the most flexibility: - Rent a car at your arrival airport of choice - Drive to Anacortes - Travel by car ferry to Orcas Island - Complete the 20 minute drive to Eastsound - If able, consider offering to carpool any empty seats! For those looking to leave transit to the experts, we suggest: - Bellair shuttle service from Seattle to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, $108 round trip - Ride the ferry as a walk-on passenger - Catch a taxi from the ferry to Eastsound and back For those looking for an empty backseat, seek out a carpool!

Yes! For those not staying at the Inn, we have arranged for a taxi service to provide transit to and from wherever you are on the Island on the day of the wedding (Saturday).
Late July is one of the best times to visit Orcas Island! The average temperatures range from the mid-70's during the day down to the 50's at night. Expect the sun to rise ~5:30 AM and set ~9PM. Rain is not common this time of the year. That said, this is the Pacific Northwest and the weather can be unpredictable, so a light waterproof jacket is advised.
We'll be serving light appetizers during the champagne hour, followed by a family-style dinner and dessert during the reception. There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and 2 signature cocktails as well!
Yes! We want to make the most of our friends and family visiting one of our favorite places, and are in the process of planning additional optional activities on the island. Stay tuned for an updated schedule!
We will communicate any updated information through email and text.
Lucy and I have visited the San Juan Islands many times since moving to the Pacific Northwest and have fallen in love with them. We love Orcas Island especially for its peace, quietness, and beauty. Visiting the San Juans is a truly quintessential PNW experience and we can't wait to share it with you!
