Optional: Morning Lakeside Walk w/ Expert Guide Ophelia

Jake and Lucy will be starting their big day with a walk around Cascade Lake. We invite any fellow early-risers to join us. It should be beautiful! Renowned trail guide Ophelia will be on hand to give her award-winning interactive lecture entitled: "the many smells of Orcas Island." The trailhead is about a 10 minute drive from Eastsound. Please meet us in the parking lot a few minutes before 7am. We will likely only make it part of the way around the lake before having to turn back. Trail Difficulty: Easy-Moderate. Some elevation changes and a handful of stairs.

Brunch is available (no reservations needed) at the New Leaf Cafe from 8am-1pm. It is delicious! Jake and Lucy will be on the front patio from around 9-10:45. If you're taking off for the ferry Sunday afternoon we'd love to say goodbye!
Optional: Whale Watching Tour

Afternoon cruise with guaranteed whale sightings? What more could one ask for! The tour will go from 11:30-2:30. Please arrive at least 20 minutes beforehand. The tour departs from the Orcas Island Ferry Terminal (approx. 20 minute drive from Eastsound). This is optional. The cost is $50 per person. If you haven't already, please let Jake or Lucy know that you'd like to join.
