Here is a list of questions that we think might be helpful! If your questions still aren't answered, feel free to text or call me (Kelsey) at (303) 483-8362 or send both of us an email at kandtlucero@gmail.com. If you have questions within the week of our wedding or on the wedding day itself, please direct them to our maid of honor, Erin at (918) 497-9452 or to my mom, Colette, at (303) 960-9455.
Question

Are you going forward with the new date (June 26th, 2021)?

Answer

At this point in time, yes we are moving forward as planned. We are very aware of the current situation and our first and only priority is everyone's comfort and safety. That being said, with the current plan for vaccinations combined with the sanitization and safety measures being taken by the venue, at this point in time we feel we can go forward safely. If at any point that changes, we will be sure to communicate any change in plans. We are so looking forward to celebrating once it is safe to do so! Please communicate with us if you feel unsafe attending or want more information about the precautions we will be taking. We will never be offended if you choose to stay home.

Question

What protocols are going to be in place to protect against COVID-19?

Answer

UPDATED JUNE 04, 2021. After receiving our RSVPs and tallying the numbers for vaccinated individuals, and discussing with the venue, we have decided to go forward with a "masks optional" event for the wedding. We are well above the 80% vaccination threshold to host mask free events, and the mask mandate has been lifted in Colorado and Larimer County. All of that combined with the fact that the majority of the event is outside, we feel we can go forward without masks safely. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so. The venue will still be taking precautions to keep things as safe as possible. As always, if you are feeling even slightly ill, please do not attend the wedding. If you have any concerns about this change, please let us know as we are happy to try to accommodate in any way that we can. Everyone's comfort and safety is still our highest priority for this event, so if at any time you are feeling uncomfortable, please let us know.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we absolutely love all the kiddos in our lives, we have opted to make our wedding a child-free affair. We thank you in advance for your understanding of our decision and we would be more than happy to help you arrange child care if needed!

Question

Where is the wedding being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Wedgewood Tapestry House in LaPorte, Colorado. The address is 3212 N Overland Trail, Laporte, CO 80535. When you drive up Overland Trail, the venue will be on your right. It sneaks up so keep an eye out for the red Wedgewood sign.

Question

What time does the wedding start/end?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM so please arrive by 4:30 PM. Then we'll boogie our butts off until 11:00 PM. After that, we will most likely head down to Old Town with whoever wants to come to have a drink or two more before ending the night!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire is formal. What the heck does that mean? We certainly don't expect you to go out and purchase or rent a tuxedo or a floor length ballgown, but a dark suit and a floor length dress or a nice cocktail dress would be appropriate for this event. If you still aren't sure, feel free to reach out and ask! And always remember we will love you no matter what you wear, we're just happy to have you all celebrating with us!

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

UPDATE DUE TO COVID-19: Through our postponement process, we upgraded our bar from wine and beer to a full open bar with well drinks. Talk about a silver lining, huh? :) We will have a plentiful selection of **well drinks**, wine, beer, cider, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages. So let's get our party on! (But please drink responsibly and don't drink and drive!)

Question

Where is a good place to stay the weekend in Fort Collins?

Answer

We have put together a few hotel blocks for you which you can find in the Travel and Places to Stay section! If those are all used up, let us know and we'll help you find a place to stay!

Question

I've never been to Fort Collins! What is there to do?

Answer

We are so excited to share our town with everyone so we've put together an awesome list of things to do and must sees around town. See the Things To Do page on this website for some great suggestions!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is primarily outdoors. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be (hopefully) held entirely outdoors and dinner and dancing are located in an indoor/outdoor area. Since the wedding is in June, please keep that in mind when picking an outfit! Also ladies please note that while this is a garden style venue, the majority of the ground is paved, so you should be able to wear heels if you'd like, but if you're worried about it then wedges or flats would be good options as well. There are plenty of trees to provide shade and seating areas for the cocktail hour.

Question

Are you accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies?

Answer

Yes definitely. We will be providing gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options for dinner and dessert. Please indicate in your RSVP if you need any of these accommodations and any other allergens that we need to be aware of.
