We met during freshman orientation at Holy Family High School. But things didn't really click until a class trip to Italy the summer before senior year where I began to notice Tyler more and more each day. I (very obviously) started chatting him up, and it didn't take long for my friends to notice that I was smitten. They began dropping quite a few hints to Tyler, and 5 days after we got back, we started dating. We've been inseparable ever since. That was June 20, 2012 so while our wedding day in 2020 would have marked 8 years together, it will be 9 years together when June 26th, 2021 rolls around :)

We went on a relaxing vacation to Cabo San Lucas and stayed at a beautiful all inclusive resort. One night, we went to a nice dinner together with the intention of walking the beach at sunset after dinner. Well dinner took a little longer than expected, so the two of us headed down to the beach but by that time it was already dark. There was a wedding going on down on the beach and they were blasting some Bruno Mars, so we boogied our way past and made it down to the end of the beach where there wasn't another person in sight. With the wind blowing through my dress and the waves crashing next to us, Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to marry him (I mean I think he did, neither of us can actually remember what the other said because we were so nervous and excited). We spent a while together on the beach listening to the waves and enjoying the moment together before heading back to our room, ordering a huge haul of room service and celebrating with my parents!

The day we've been waiting for so patiently is almost here!! We will be saying "I Do" at the Wedgewood Tapestry House located about 10 minutes outside of Fort Collins, CO in LaPorte, CO. Both the ceremony and reception will be held here. Ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Reception will follow immediately. The attire is formal. Appetizers, dinner and drinks will be provided! Bring your dancing shoes, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
