We're getting married!

We met in Royal Oak, Michigan where Luke was working at GM and Vivian was doing one of her Physician Assistant rotations. Luke invited Vivian to paddleboard at a local lake for their first date. Shortly after getting on the paddleboard, Vivian fell in (read pushed in). Fortunately, that did not deter her from the rest of the date. They got lost in conversation while the wind drifted them several yards along the shore. Chivalrous as he was, Luke got in the water pulled Vivian all the way back while talking about true crime, Vivian's favorite topic. Luckily, it didn't scare him away and invited her to a second date just two days later.
