Unfortunately, the best member of our family is not allowed at the venue but he will certainly be represented.

While we love your kids, the evening will be 21+. We hope you can enjoy a date night!

Is there a dress code?

Madison says, "cocktail attire, no tie required."

Will any of the celebration take place outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location. The ceremony will take place indoors. The reception and cocktail hour will be an indoor/outdoor celebration with reserved outdoor space on the river.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

The hotel blocks are approximately a 5-minute walk to the venue, where the ceremony and reception will be held. Ubers and taxis are readily available if you are staying outside the hotel block area, it will be easy to get to! For the welcome party, Uber or taxi will be easiest. But, it is also accessible via the L (Brown or Red Line) and then ~10 minute walk from the station.

What will the weather be?

Answer

September in Chicago is usually very nice with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-60s. The weather in Chicago is (unfortunately) unpredictable though, so we'd recommend checking the weather before you leave!
