How do I get to the Venue?

Answer

All events will take place at Key Largo Lighthouse Beach 98990 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo FL, 33037. To find the correct entrance to Key Largo Lighthouse Beach, look for the a long, blue concrete fence pictured above and enter the main driveway. It is directly across from a a building named "Royal Furniture". Upon entering, find the sign with the name "Hidden Beach"

What is beach formal wedding attire?

Answer

A dress, suit, or jumpsuit—in lighter colors (avoiding cream and white) and breathable fabrics. To up the elegance factor, consider fabrics like lace and tulle, both of which are light and airy but have an upscale vibe. Since the entire venue is a beach, consider chunky heels or wedge sandals. Or better yet, plan to kick them off! Either a suit or a long-sleeved with a jacket and slacks. Ties or bowties are optional. Solid colors, like beige and light blue (avoiding cream and white), are also recommended. Light breathable fabrics such as linen, khaki, or seersucker not only match the beach vibe, but will also keep you cool. Consider dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that compliment the slacks.

MIA is 63 miles ( or 101 km for our metric peeps) away from Key Largo Lighthouse Beach. In normal traffic conditions, expected travel time is approximately 1 hour. Keep in mind that morning or afternoon rush hour may produce longer travel times.

How long does it take to get from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Key Largo?

Fort Lauderdale Airport is 92 miles ( or 148 km for our metric peeps) away from Key Largo Lighthouse Beach. In normal traffic conditions, expected travel time is approximately 2 hours. Keep in mind that morning or afternoon rush hour may produce longer travel times.

How can I avoid travel delays due to traffic?

Answer

The FL Keys are a weekend destination for many. You may want to avoid traveling to Key Largo on Friday during rush hour between 5-7pm and expect traffic to be heavier leaving Key Largo on Sunday late afternoon when many travelers are heading home.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating. After all, if you ain't first, you're last.

I don't like sand. Its coarse and rough and irritating... and it gets everywhere.

Answer

Well, Anakin, not all sand is created equal. The sand at our venue packs down pretty hard which makes it perfect for driving or parking a car, walking, and most importantly - dancing.
