Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) – ~17 miles northwest of Destin

VPS is the closest major airport to Destin — just about a 20–25 minute drive from the beach! It’s small, easy to navigate, and served by Delta, American, United, Southwest, and Allegiant. You’ll find rental cars right on-site, making it a super convenient option if you want to get to paradise as quickly as possible.

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) – ~52 miles east of Destin

ECP is in Panama City Beach, about an hour from Destin. It’s served by Delta, American, United, and Southwest, and sometimes has great flight deals. If you don’t mind a scenic coastal drive, it’s a nice option to check out when you’re booking.
