How Do We Get There?

The venue is The Mohicans Treehouse Resort & Wedding Venue Address for Venue: 23164 Vess Rd, Glenmont, OH 44628 *PLEASE print off directions to/from the venue as there is NO cell service! DO NOT rely on GPS to guide you. Seriously, you will go twenty minutes out before getting service again. #1-Directions for Guests coming through Loudonville from the North on Rt.3: -Follow Wally Road south for approx. 8 miles from the intersection of State Route 3 and Wally Road in Loudonville. -Turn right on Vess Road (also called Township Road 357 on some maps). *Go to #3 for remaining directions #2-Directions for Guests coming through Danville from the South on Rt. 514: -State Route 514 brings you into the Mohican Valley area from the north or south through the small town of Greer, Ohio. Once in Greer, turn onto Wally Road (Wally Road dead ends into State Route 514) and travel 1.6 miles to Vess Road (also called Township Road 357 on some maps) which enters on your left. -Turn left onto Vess Road. *Go to #3 for remaining directions #3-Remaining Directions once on Vess Rd -You will see a sign for Tree Frog Canopy Tours and a little white 1800’s schoolhouse near the corner (it's super cool- read the plaque posted by the door and take some pictures!). The road splits shortly after you make that turn-Stay RIGHT (if you stay left you will be on Big Hill Road, which is the wrong way). -Continue on Vess Road for approx. 0.8 miles (it's uphill most of the way, all gravel, very beautiful views). At the top of the hill, across from an open field with a green oil tank (very noticeable) will be the driveway to The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue on the right. "The Mohicans" sign is located at the entrance. Turn right into the drive and follow it through the woods to the venue parking lot. Road Details For The Venue (The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue)

-All treehouses and cabins are within a 5 minute walk to the wedding venue but the terrain is steep and sometimes muddy/dusty so most guests drive to the venue for weddings. -Most roads in the area are very well maintained but can be curvy and steep. -All of the properties have gravel driveways, with some being very long. -While the gravel driveways are routinely maintained, they can be bumpy or slippery at times. -The venue recommends four-wheel or all-wheel drive whenever possible. The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue

UPDATE: All Cabins, Treehouses and Country Homes are booked! These accommodations are onsite with the venue and is where Matt & Lindsey will stay Saturday night. The available treehouses, cabins, and country homes (these two are not on site but close) must be booked using our wedding link in advance. 90 days prior to the June 1st wedding date (March 1, 2024), any available units will open up to the public. Some information regarding the treehouses & cabins: -Guests for the wedding can check-in as early as 2 pm. -Check out is 11 am! An additional charge will apply if cleaning crew shows up at 11 and you aren't out yet. -When booking, please make sure to take note of how many beds, and of any ladders. Many locations use a ladder to get up to the bedroom (and most involve stairs to get up to the treehouse). Keep all of these things in mind and double check EVERYTHING before you book! -A 50% deposit is processed with the booking & an email confirmation will go out immediately after. The balance is processed automatically 30 days prior to check-in. -Early arrival (prior to 2p) is not allowed due to housekeeping. There will be no check-ins after 11:00 pm. as a courtesy to other guests. No property access codes will be issued until the balance is paid in full and the Waiver has been returned to The Mohicans. *Due to it being wedding season, there is no guarantee that you will be able to book accommodations on site for Friday or Sunday night until 90 days prior (when it becomes public from the other weddings). If you plan on staying either of those nights, we suggest Mohican Lodge & Conference Center. The lodge is newly renovated and offers many amenities: lodge gift store (snacks, drinks, essential items you may have forgotten to pack, etc.), indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade games, restaurant with outside patio, easy access to hiking trails, and cozy game rooms/nooks. If you are planning to make a weekend out of it, this is one of the better places to stay! *This location does require a 2 night stay! *Check-in starts at 4 pm (if arriving on Saturday, manager said they are happy to hold your bags and have restrooms you can use to change/freshen up prior to arriving at the venue) About 27 mins (17.2 miles) from the venue.
