Meg’s little sister and her rock. Laura is a cardiac ICU nurse at the Children's Hospital in Denver. In her free time, you will often see Laura snuggling any dog but mainly her own dog Rooney, playing board games with her fiancé Shane (and winning!), cooking our dad’s best recipes, or imitating a pterodactyl among many other creatures.
Kevin Smith
Best Man
Kevin is John’s college best friend and rodeo partner. He lives in Pittsburgh finishing his residency in pediatrics. Kevin and John are never found together doing normal things. Instead, you can frequently find them dressed as superheroes in Denny’s, riding the backs of prolific statues – or also horses, getting tattoos together, or feeding homeless men cookies at 2 AM. He also is known for making fun of John.
Jackie Murphy
Matron of Honor
Meg’s bestest-best-friend-in-the-whole-wide-world-forever-and-always (BBFITWWWFAA) and Meg’s hype man. Jackie and her wife Emily have fancy jobs near Boston, MA with their dynamic duo doggies, Brownie and Dunbar. When Jackie and Meg are together you will frequently find them driving to Taco Bell after skiing on a mountain, playing music at an obnoxious volume, or traveling the world and getting matching tattoos together.
Brad Gross
Best Man
Brad is the closest John has to a brother and the Feemster family mascot. He lives in Brighton, MI, with his dog Blue, working as an educational student coordinator. His favorite things include (you guessed it!) making fun of John, getting hit by deer while stopped at red lights, and applying to summer jobs at Victoria’s secret. He was John’s first childhood friend to meet Meg… and perhaps the last.
Sadie Graham

Sadie is Meg’s best friend from medical school, who is completing her family medicine residency in Wisconsin with her husband Jake, two young boys (Wesley and Sully), their dog (Violet), and their cat (Nora). It is up for debate whether Meg and Sadie’s greatest stories come from the Graham family's 100th annual raft trip or Meg officiating Sadie and Jake’s wedding after living in a camper in their driveway for a month. I love you... now say it back!
Zakk Wallace
Groomsman
Zakk met John and Meg in medical school and witnessed the beginnings of John and Meg’s relationship. He lives on his beautiful farm property with his wife Megan, their dog Franklin, cat Brie, and two horses Aspen and Honey. In his spare time, you can find Zakk remodeling their home and sometimes finishing his residency in Family medicine. Zakk is known for his spicy humor, sharing a costume birthday parties with Meg and John, his gigantic heart, love of animals, and his Mom Julie (Hi Julie!). Oh, and his name is actually Zach.
Martha Roth
Bridesmaid
John’s middle older sister and first partner in crime. She lives with her husband (Kyle), baby twins (Ellie and Sly), three dogs (Rudy, Bear, and Polly), and two cats (Harvey and Mr. Biscuits). On the side, she has a full-time job, doing the Lord’s work as a healthcare social worker. Martha is also known for making fun of John, her excellent taste in home decor, and her green thumb.
Flip (Phillip) Hartfield
Groomsman
Flip is also a medical school friend of Meg and John, and a true pal. He is a pretty cool dude, completing his internal medicine residency in Ann Arbor, MI. Flip is known for being down to do literally anything, randomly traveling the world, chatting up your grandfather, and his roadside mechanic skills. He is a great addition to both the Lieb and the Feemster family.
Lauren Kreitinger
Bridesmaid
John’s oldest sister and confidant. She is the queen of the household, corralling her boys, Hugh, Chip, and her husband Chad. She is also the world’s best thrifter, coffee extraordinaire, Rifle paper goods collector, and crinkle cutter. We are thrilled for Hugh and Chip to join the wedding party as well, doubling as both our ring bearers and flower boys.
Cal Lieb
Groomsman
Cal is Meg’s older brother and her first best friend. Cal lives in California where he “builds hospitals” for a living, and he lives with his lovely partner Jess and their dog Finley. Cal is a fan of costume parties, especially if they’re emo themed. He is known for cooking delicious dinners and his bromance with John. Some say, Cal is the real reason John wants to marry Meg.
