Kevin Lichtfuss will be excited to learn that Mountain Village has a free disc golf course! The course begins adjacent to Town Hall Plaza (Mountain Village Market and Village Court Parking Garage) and is open from 7 a.m. to sunset in the summer. The goal of disc golf is to move through the course with the least number of throws. The targets are metal baskets; one must toss the disc into the basket. Equipment can be rented from BootDoctors in town.
We love this place. Beautiful building and friendly waitstaff, this restaurant is quaint and sophisticated, and the culinary creations are an apt match. Chef Eliza uses the freshest Colorado local ingredients, and her menu is constantly changing to use what is in season.
One of our favorite spots in town-- with elevated bar / American food housed in a rustic building-- the cocktails are excellent, as are the local beers on draft. You will most likely run into us there at some point!
If you want a high end steak dinner this is THE place to go. Housed in the historic New Sheridan Hotel-- the oldest establishment in town-- this restaurant is sophisticated and has a small bar as well.
Two thousand feet above the town, this restaurant has the best views in Telluride-- worth the trek to soak them in and have a drink. It is also the most luxurious restaurant in Telluride-- housed at the top of the gondola with floor to ceiling windows.

Sunglass HQ carries over 1,000 pairs of eyewear for sport or fashion BUT the real reason to stop by here is because they house the original safe that Butch Cassidy and his gang robbed in 1889. Ask the store clerk about the history and you're in for a real treat.
