Wedding Weekend Kickoff

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

You made it! Let's toast the start of the wedding weekend at this historic Telluride venue-- opened in 1895 it is one of the oldest bars in the west.

Hike to Bear Creek Falls

11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Hiking shoes, athletic clothes, layers!

Join us for a 2.5 mile hike Bear Creek Falls. Bear Creek Preserve Trail is one of Telluride's most popular trails. The beautiful and well-marked wooded trail ends in a magnificent set of waterfalls and an unbeatable view of the town of Telluride. Along the way admire meadows and cairns that hikers have constructed. Distance: 2.5 miles one way to the Falls Difficulty: Easy to Moderate Elevation Gain: 1,050 feet Time: 1 hour and 15 minutes from Trailhead to the Falls at a leisurely pace. Wedding Ceremony

Formal Attire

Although the dress code is Formal Attire-- men should wear a suit and tie (no tux's please). Please be mindful of your footwear to the ceremony site since you'll be walking on soil and grass to reach it. Check out our FAQ page for some additional tips (particularly for those wearing heels ;) ) The ceremony site can be accessed using the free town gondola. From either town (Telluride or Mountain Village), get on the gondola and get off at the top (where Allred's is located). Proceed out the main doors. You'll see a restroom and a path leading up towards the Nature Center. Follow this path past the Nature Center towards Lift 7. You'll see the ceremony site to the left near the ski patrol shack at the top of Lift 7. This walk shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes. The site is located at an elevation of 10,500 ft., so be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and prevent altitude sickness.
