Rent stand-up paddle boards or kayaks at Evergreen Lake, walk the boardwalk at the lake, or have a picnic and enjoy the mountain views.
Explore Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Bring some comfortable walking shoes to explore the venue (expect hills and lots of steps!), but the views are worth it! Dierks Bentley is playing Red Rocks on Saturday, 8/31 for anyone interested!
Denver Union Station
Grab a drink at Terminal Bar, inside of Union Station, which is the scene of our first date!
Hike St. Mary's Glacier
Explore this 2.4-mile out-and-back trail near Idaho Springs, Colorado. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for cross-country skiing, fishing, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through October.
Evergreen Golf Course
Evergreen Golf Course is Denver’s mountain jewel. At 7,220 feet, this 18-hole executive course sits along Bear Creek. Rolling hills and fairways lined with pine trees make this an affordable mountain golf experience just a short drive from the city. Elk and other wildlife sightings are frequent on the course, and after golf, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks on the patio at Keys On The Green.

Rent e-bikes, full suspension mountain mikes, road bikes or fat bikes and explore the trails or roads around Evergreen.
Clear Creek Rafting Co.
Clear Creek starts its steep descent of the Rocky Mountains at the nearby Continental Divide. With a gradient that averages some 67 feet per mile, a Clear Creek raft trip has more rapids in its relatively short length than many other rivers in Colorado. Located near Idaho Springs, Colorado, just a few minutes from Geo’s Morrison base, Clear Creek is the closest “true” whitewater rafting to Denver. Clear Creek offers bodacious FUN and you don’t have to commit an entire day. Geo offers Part-Day and Full-Day raft trips with a section to suit everyone from the Beginner to the Advanced rafter.
Georgetown Loop Railroad
The Georgetown Loop Railroad was one of Colorado’s first visitor attractions. Completed in 1884, this spectacular stretch of three-foot narrow gauge railroad was considered an engineering marvel for its time. This is a ride to remember! The beauty of the rugged Rocky Mountains surrounds you as our old-time steam locomotive or one of our powerful diesel locomotives winds up the Clear Creek canyon. Pass by remains of gold and silver mines and breathtaking views along the line, in fully enclosed and open cars. Great family fun for kids of all ages. Duration is 2-3 hours.
