Santa Barbara (SBA) is the closest airport to the Santa Ynez Valley, (or SYV, as the locals call it). It's about a 45 min drive. You can also fly into Los Angeles (LAX) and make the beautiful 3-3.5 hour drive up Pacific Coast Highway and into the Valley.

SYV is a stunning, but rather remote, part of California’s Central Coast, and Ubers/Taxis are practically non-existent. We will be providing transportation to both the welcome dinner and the wedding, but if you’d like to explore the area (which we highly recommend!), we would suggest renting a car. SYV is home to several charming towns, all with their own unique character, along with gorgeous wineries sprinkled amongst the hills, and we have provided suggestions throughout the valley. However, if you decide to forego the rental, both of our suggested hotels in Solvang are walking distance to a myriad of shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms!

We have room blocks at the two hotels below. The blocks are for Friday and Saturday nights, but for those wishing to arrive early or stay until Monday, please call your preferred hotel and reference the "Remy-Weiss Wedding" and they will extend the discounted rate. There are many lovely Hotels, Inns, and AirBnbs throughout the Santa Ynez Valley; however, please note that our shuttle transport will be provided from Solvang to both the welcome dinner and the wedding, and our venues do not permit guests to arrive by independent transport. As ubers/taxis are nearly impossible to come by, if you decide to stay outside of Solvang, please make sure you have your own transport to/from the shuttle pickup!
