Answer

October is widely considered the most beautiful month of the year in the valley, with its typically mid-high 70s sunny days, and cozy 50-60 degree nights. That said, Cali weather can be a bit unpredictable, and there is a wide temperature range from peak wamth to nightfall, so we suggest packing layers!

Answer

Friday is laid back, but festive! We fully encourage leaning into western ranch vibes, and breaking out your best boots and belts and hats! Saturday will be semi-formal, though still in keeping with the ranch lifestyle. The ceremony is in a grassy grove and our reception is in an historic barn with dirt floors, so maybe ditch those stilettos/shiny dress shoes and hang on to those boots! Dressed up denim with a great jacket and bolero is fine by us, but we also encourage you to bust out your finest three piece suit! Sunday brunch is totally casual, so simply come as you wish!

We learned that there are about 2-3 in the entire area. Santa Barbara based car services are available, but- head's up- they are extremely pricey.

Unfortunately, no. Our venues have a very strict policy that all guests must arrive on the pre-arranged shuttles, and no outside transportation is permitted.

Generally, we fully believe that more is always merrier, and will happily make room for another seat at the table! Unfortunately, due to head count constraints with our venues, we are unable to accommodate guests not specifically included on your invitation. We apologize, and appreciate your understanding.

If they don't need a seat of their own, then yes! Unfortunately, outside of our nieces/nephews/godchildren, we just don't have the space for our friends' more grown children, but for those who have young littles and can't yet travel solo, this is a family friendly event, and we will have a couple of trusted sitters on hand for the eve for when our weary parents might need a little break to hit that dance floor!

We know that all of you are traveling to be with us, many from vast distances, and we truly consider your presence your present. For those who wish to send a more traditional gift, we will create a small registry in the coming months.
