Dress Code: Kick Up Your Boots

Our shuttle will pick you up at 4:30 to transport you to Piocho Ranch, nestled in the vineyards of SYV's Happy Canyon. Once you arrive, it's time to kick up your boots for a traditional Central Coast Santa Maria BBQ, with plenty of wood-fire grilled eats, delicious hand crafted sips from our dear pal Katherine's Show Pony Bar, and live Country/Bluegrass tunes by the locally renowned VanAllen Twins Band! Don't forget your favorite cowboy hat! Or, saddle on up to our hat bar, where you can customize your hat from start to finish! Please note that the main house is reserved for catering and wedding party only, and we kindly ask that you do not go inside. But don't worry, we will have EVERYTHING you need on the property grounds! For those who might need an earlier departure, will have a return shuttle 7:45pm. And then for those still gettin their country ho-down on til the very end, we will have another shuttle return at 9pm.

At 2:00 pm, our shuttle will pick you up in Solvang to take you up to Rancho San Julian, where you’ll have some time to get settled, select your welcome beverage, and take in the sweeping views before we start the ceremony. Immediately following will be a bountiful cocktail spread on the casa grounds, and then we'll head down to the historic barn for our reception dinner and plenty of dance floor celebration. Dinner will be served family style, to honor the cowboy tradition of sharing a meal after a long day's ride. There will be vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free options to accommodate everyone (along with plenty of selections for our cheese lovers and carnivores), so we won’t be inquiring about dietary restrictions, but know we’ve got ya covered! We know that we have a wide variety of bedtime preferences amongst our guests, so beginning at 8:30pm, we will have revolving shuttles to escort you back to Solvang, up until the reception concludes at the stroke of midnight.

We invite you to join us for brunch at Bob's Well Bread, our favorite breakfast spot in all of the Valley! We'll have a wide array of their famously delicious pastries, a bagel and lox spread with all the fixins, breakfast sandwiches with their housemade sausage (chef's kiss), a dreamy quiche assortment, French toast bites, plus a full coffee/espresso bar and mimosa station. Timing is flexible, so arrive when you wish! We'll be there starting at 10:30, one of their addictive morning buns in hand. For those needing to hit the road on Sunday, feel free to swing by, grab a box, and take some deliciousness to go! Please note that Bob's has two locations and we will be at their Ballard spot, a short drive from our suggested hotels. We will not be providing shuttle transportation for brunch, as Bob's has on site parking. That said, parking is somewhat limited, so carpool if you can!
