Our favorite bar and family entertainment center — so much so that we even have our own engraved glasses! We’ve spent countless weekends here hanging out, making memories, and meeting some of our closest friends, including our officiant Jeremiah and his wife Cass. Located just down the road from our house, Copper River has become such a special place in our relationship. We highly recommend stopping by for good drinks, great food, and an even better atmosphere.
Just down the road from us, Lake Pueblo is a favorite summer spot for boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Hunter and I both grew up on this lake, and it’s extra special to our family since my grandpa Jimmy and my late father, Doug, helped with renovations on the dam. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water or explore the trails, it’s a perfect place for making memories.
The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk is a must-see in Pueblo! It’s full of restaurants, shops, boat rides, and beautiful walking paths along the water. It also holds a special place in our story — it was where we spent our very first holiday (the 4th of July) together and, later, where Hunter proposed!
A hidden gem in Southern Colorado, the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum offers a captivating journey through aviation history. We had the privilege of visiting the museum on the night we got engaged, sharing the experience with my family. The museum's extensive collection of military, space, and civilian aircraft, along with its fascinating exhibits, made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for a unique outing, this museum provides an enriching and memorable experience. It's a perfect spot to explore and appreciate the rich history of flight.
