Fontana Village Resort

300 Woods Roads, Fontana Dam, NC
 800-849-2258

We've secured a wedding group rate at Fontana Village, and we'd love for everyone to stay on-site! Between the lodge-style rooms and cozy mountain cabins, there's something for every preference — browse the options and pick what feels right for you. We genuinely encourage all guests to book a room on the resort. The mountain roads in the area can be challenging to navigate, especially at night, and we want everyone to arrive and get home safely without any worries. Cabins vary in layout and finishes, so explore your options and find your favorite. We recommend reserving early — the updated cabins especially tend to go fast! To book, use the online portal below. If you'd like to extend your stay or request a specific cabin or room, go ahead and reserve online first, then give the front desk a call to make any adjustments. Having trouble booking? If your preferred dates or room type aren't showing availability, just reach out to our group reservationist at nica.medina@fontanavillage.com and she will take great care of you.

Airbnb

Although we HIGHLY recommend to stay on the resort, there are a variety of airbnbs close to the venue! Compare prices with VRBO and the venue. Please try to stay towards the east side of the venue rather than drive through the Dragon's tail.

Travel Notes

Fontana Village is tucked away in the mountains, so plan for a scenic (and winding) drive once you arrive. Depending on your route, you may pass along the famous “Tail of the Dragon,” known for its curves. It’s beautiful — just take your time and enjoy the views. Cell service can be limited in some areas, so we recommend entering the address into your GPS before heading up the mountain and keeping it on for the duration of the drive. If winding roads aren’t your favorite, pack some Bonine or Dramamine just in case. Rental cars are strongly recommended if flying in, as rideshares are very limited.
