The Wedding Website of Beth Laschever and Tyler Robinson
Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Jean Laschever

Maid of Honor

Beth has always felt so lucky to have an older sister. Both ambitious and stubborn Capricorns, they share many personality traits but are still uniquely different from each other. Jean was the athletic and scholarly one, while Beth was the artistic and theatrical one. Jean has always been a constant support and encouraged Beth’s strengths and individual pursuits. She was Beth’s role model growing up and guided her through so many moments in life. Their childhood was filled with so many adventures and travel that created a strong bond between them. Memories of camping in the great Pacific Northwest or sailing as a family on the Puget Sound. Or the time they traveled to Costa Rica and watched ants “carrying a flower” (inside joke). Traveling to India to visit Jean during one the most significant journeys she’s ever taken, Beth is grateful to have witnessed different parts of the world with her sister. And not many sister’s have a sailboat named after them, the Elizabeth Jean. Joining their #PirateParents aboard the Elizabeth Jean in Southern California and Mexico, they experienced once in a lifetime voyages together. These days, Beth and Tyler love to visit Jean and Max in Chicago and are enjoying life as Auntie B and Uncle Ty to the newest addition to the family, our niece Maria. As some of you might remember, Beth sobbed through her entire MOH toast to Jean so she looks forward to hearing a more coherent speech from her sister.

Jeremy Robinson

Best Man

Jeremy Robinson is Tyler’s older brother. Jeremy is three years older than Tyler. But Tyler’s birthday is three days before his. Both of them are Virgos who were born on Wednesdays at eleven o’clock. Tyler was born at 11AM. Jeremy was born at 11PM. They are not sure what the meaning is behind all of those weird coincidences, or why the stars aligned the way that they did. But one thing can be certain, it created one heck of dynamic between the two of them! This is a relationship that is deep-rooted in competition. On one hand, Jeremy is Tyler’s best friend. On another hand, Jeremy is Tyler’s arch nemesis. The best metaphor for this relationship is a super long wooden roller coaster full of twists and turns. Or better yet, two roller coasters that are racing, similar to the lightning racers at Hershey park (if you know you know). However, no matter how many times these two wrestled over the TV remote growing up, Tyler will always have the most love for his brother. At the end of the day, Jeremy has been Tyler’s role model throughout his whole entire life. Any time that Tyler has to make a major life decision (like marrying Beth, for instance), the first person he turns to for advice is Jeremy. Tyler couldn’t feel more lucky to have a brother like that by his side. Jeremy currently resides in Edgewater, NJ with his wife Vanessa. The two of them recently had their first child together, a baby boy named Emmett.

Vanessa Robinson

Bridesmaid

Beth is thrilled to be gaining another sister in Vanessa. They formed an instant camaraderie the night they met. Beth helped rip Vanessa out of her dress after a wardrobe malfunction at a wedding. Over the last 5+ years, they have deeply formed a family bond as the women in the Robinson boys' lives. Vanessa is a Taurus so they are also connected in their grounded Earth Signs. Beth always looks forward to hearing the latest tales from Vanessa’s high school Biology classrooms. Or in seeing Vanessa in her newest role as mom to their nephew, Emmett. Holidays and family gatherings are always made sweeter whenever we get to catch up together. Vanessa is a warm and caring woman in Beth’s life and she feels so fortunate to be officially becoming sisters-in-law!

Max Friedman

Groomsman

Max is Tyler's Brother-in-law. Tyler first met Max in 2019 on a trip to Chicago. They immediately bonded over their love of Game of Thrones, sci-fi TV, and a shared sense of humor. Right before the pandemic hit, the four of them went on a vacation together in Chile. While adventuring through the lake district, hiking up volcanoes, and paddling through river rapids, Tyler truly got to know Max on a much deeper level. Max is one of the brightest and the most charismatic people Tyler has ever known, and he couldn’t feel more honored to have him as a member of his family. Fatherhood looks good on Max. Beth and Tyler are so incredibly happy to see Jean and Max blossom into new parents.

Anna Levin

Bridesmaid

From the tender age of 2, Anna and Beth grew up down the street from each other on 85th Ave on Mercer Island. As kids growing up in the 90s, they spent their early days frolicking around outside, riding scooters, or playing with American Girl Dolls. Beth was probably over at their house, eating all the Challah, drinking all the milk or snacking on The Cake Lady's trimmings. Keeping a strong tradition alive, every year The Levins would help decorate the Christmas Tree, while also exchanging gifts for Hanukkah. Once Y2K rolled around, you could find them playing The Sims for hours or making embarrassing home videos with Anna’s dad’s camcorder. The awkward years were well captured on video but Beth fondly looks back on them with her best friend by her side. They also shared a love for the creative arts, Anna having a special skill for improv. Anna now lends her talents to her incredible career, working with kids with Autism. Although Anna lives all the way across the country, Beth always finds time to see her when she visits Seattle. Anna was the first one to lovingly name her “Beff” as we will always be her BFF Forever.

Charles Lewis

Groomsman

When Tyler was 5 years old, his family moved into an apartment building in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. Charles lived in the same building, and this is where the two of them met. Their relationship began by playing Star Wars outside with toy lightsabers, and eventually it evolved into a life-long brotherhood. The two of them grew up together, and they did just about everything together. Between K-12 there was hardly ever a weekend where the two of them were apart. Tyler considers Charles to be his second brother, the middle child. Now, Charles resides in Richmond VA with his wife Hannah and their beautiful son Stephen. There is an annual tradition in place for Jeremy and Tyler to take a road trip down south and visit in the spring. There is an even newer tradition which involves Charles coming up to NYC to eat pancakes at a diner and then go to the Eagles/Giants game. Go Birds!

Ryan Moxley Zatcoff

Bridesman

To know Ryan, is to love Ryan. A friendship that blossomed in a freshmen year writing class over a hysterical mutual interest (Shout out to Alison Perry). Ryan quickly took Beth under his wing and adopted her into his group of friends. It was Ryan’s kindness that led to a college experience surrounded by so much joy and laughter. Beth and Ryan spent weekends in NYC, rushing Broadway shows or drinking coffee and having dessert at Witches Brew. Eventually, they moved off campus to Holly House and kept dreaming toward the future. After graduation, Ryan and Beth moved to Harlem with James and Colgan and real life began. His career has taken off and he’s now a leader in the Broadway Advertising World. Ryan practically invented the trademark, “New York or Nowhere.” In 2022, Ryan and Beth celebrated their official New Yorker status after 10 years of city living.

Nash Robinson

Groomsman

Don’t let the name fool you. This is Tyler's brother from another mother. However, Tyler and Nash have such a long history they pretty much are brothers! Their relationship began in 7th grade when Nash transferred to Tyler's school. One day while talking in the locker room, they discovered that they lived in the same neighborhood in Philly. Only a 5-minute walk away from each other. So naturally, they began to hang out more and more both in school and out of school. Tyler will never forget the one snow day in 7th grade when he walked up the street to Nash’s house and began throwing snow balls at Nash’s window. Nash, while confused, opened it, and then Tyler hit him square in the forehead with another one. This story is a great representation of the deeply-rooted friendship that Nash and Tyler share. Their history is chock-full of special moments like this. Memories that belong in movies that you can't simply put a price on. Nash currently resides in Richmond, VA with his wife and high-school sweetheart, Cecile. They welcomed their first child together, Nash Junior in September 2021.

Diana Saglimbeni

Bridesmaid

Diana is sunshine in human form, aka Sunny D. The Glinda to my Dorothy. Beth met Diana freshman year, the night they 1776’d and went to Witches Brew. It was magic from the start. Beth and Diana instantly bonded over their love of musicals and exploring NYC. Sophomore year, they were roomies in Suite 411, then they moved off campus to the 2nd floor at Holly House for junior and senior year. Diana has always embraced Beth’s paparazzi ways, allowing her to photograph so many special moments in her life. Diana joined the cool-mom club in 2020 and is busier than ever raising some very cute kiddos, Lily and Leo. Beth can always count on her nerd out over documentaries or bring the energy and accompany her to full reenactment as Ann-Margret dancing in A Lot of Livin' To Do.

McLean Mills

Groomsman

Mclean, also known as Mac, is one of Tyler’s Best friends from Emerson college in Boston. A member of Tyler's "transfer squad". Both of them transferred in the fall of their junior year (class of 2014), and they were both studying film in the visual and media arts program. On the very first day of school, they sat next to each other in class and they instantly bonded over their love of ‘The Boondocks’. As their relationship grew overtime, Mac became one of the fiercest friends Tyler has ever known. Tyler often wonders how much more boring his Emerson experience would’ve been if he never met Mac. Later on, they both did the same internship program together in Los Angeles, where they were roommates in the same suite. After graduation, Mac was right there with Tyler in LA for his West Coast Chapter. Now, after recently moving back to the east coast, Mac is by Tyler's side again for the New York Chapter.

Sinéad Conlon

Bridesmaid

Sinéad is one of those ride or die kind of girlfriends. She’s usually the first person Beth likes to vent to or spill the tea with. Since freshman year of college, their friendship has grown tighter and tighter over the years. Whether Beth was fan-girling over Sinéad and her friends singing a cappella together, she’s always been a loyal friend to Beth. A few years after graduation, they even had the joy of living together in Harlem, fighting an infestation of cockroaches and a few burst pipes in their apartment. Later, they moved to Queens together and continued to navigate the real world together. Through it all, their friendship is stronger than ever. A social planner extraordinaire, Sinéad is the first one to always make a plan or dinner reservation and Beth knows she can always rely on her for anything.

Ben Coflan

Groomsman

Ben, another member of the honorary “transfer squad”, is another one of Tyler's best friends from Emerson College. Ben transferred at the same time as Tyler and Mac. However, unlike Tyler and Mac, Ben was studying sound engineering. Tyler, after two years in film school, found it to be such a relief to hang out with someone who wasn’t a film nerd. The two of them primarily bonded over music; going to a plethora of concerts together around Boston during college. It also helped that Ben was the host of the weekly Game of Thrones viewing parties! After graduation, Ben moved out to Los Angeles and he was there with Tyler during his West Coast Chapter. LA is still where Ben resides, and congrats to him and his fiancée Annie on their recent engagement!

Christina Myers

Bridesmaid

Affectionately known as “Twinny,” Christina and Beth have often been mistaken as sisters. And Christina will fiercely defend Beth as a redhead for anyone who doubts it! Christina was always like a big sister to Beth during their time at Hofstra, one year apart, both members of the School of Communications. Christina was a Broadcast Journalism major, and Beth studying Television/Video, they bonded over their mutual love for telling stories through media. There was always a kismet energy between them, creative minds that thought alike. Beth moved into Christina’s suite 411 with Diana, Chloe and Hayley sophomore year. They road tripped to NOLA for spring break to volunteer rebuilding a home lost after Hurricane Katrina. They lived together at Holly House, hanging on the Pirate Ship or in The Nook, while brainstorming their next big idea together. After Christina graduated and moved away, they’ve enjoyed catching on trips in Arizona, Maine and Rhode Island. No matter the time and distance, they always pick up right where they left off.

Loi Huynh

Groomsman

Loi, the final member of the honorary “transfer squad”, is another one of Tyler’s best friends from Emerson College. Unlike Mac and Ben, Loi and Tyler’s relationship didn’t start until the Los Angeles Internship program senior year. However, Tyler considers the internship program in Hollywood to be one of the most exciting times of his life, and Loi was there at the center of all of it. The two of them grew super close while they explored LA together. Hiking the hills, going to the beach, driving around the city, discussing each others dreams in the industry, and making short films. They weren’t technically roommates, but they pretty much were because Loi was in Tyler's suite 24/7. A vow was made that semester that the two of them would be friends for life. And Loi has proven this time and time again, always showing up for Tyler during the moments that count.

Chloe Houston-Welch

Bridesmaid

Chloe and Beth fatefully met during their freshman year in a cluster of classes, focused on Drama and the Arts. Beth instantly fell in love with Chloe’s sense of humor and infectious laugh. If they weren’t galavanting around the Hofstra campus, they could often be found at a Broadway show or playing Rock Band in the dorms. After graduation, Chloe and Beth both moved to the city, Chloe up in Washington Heights, Beth in Harlem. Boozy brunches, Governors Balls, and bar hopping in the West Village, they really lived it up in their early 20’s. Chloe and Beth also shared the joy of waitressing together at the beloved establishment, The Barrel. Chloe made some career moves and eventually landed herself in LA. She’s now a California Gurl and Beth is happy to know she’s loving the west coast life.

James McGowan

Bridesman

This tall drink of water came dancing into Beth’s life sophomore year. James quickly fit right into the cast of characters. A lover of musical theater and the voice of angel, James was a star performer at Hofstra and belted his way into Beth’s heart. James moved into Holly House senior year and they grew even closer. After an epic spring break trip to Disney World, Beth and James graduated and moved to Harlem with Ryan and Colgan. It was during this time, James and Beth would have heart to hearts and discover just how special their friendship is. You can now find James performing as the legendary queen "Dottie Ave", serving fierce looks and lip syncing for her life. Do yourself a favor and make sure you are on the dance floor during the wedding to see James really thrive.

Spencer Hamp

Officiant

It’s difficult to put into words how special of a person Spencer is. He has the most genuine heart and soul. His spirit seriously vibrates at a higher level. If you know, you know. 20 years ago, Beth and Spencer met when they were cast in the show, “ The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” at Youth Theatre Northwest. They had the pleasure of performing in a total of 7 shows together at YTN. Spencer has an incredible natural ability for acting and music, and Beth was lucky enough to witness his talents grow and flourish throughout high school. During this time, they became more like family and a deep bond was created (shout out to Camp Hamp). In 2016, Spencer and Kait moved from Seattle to Brooklyn with their dog, Piglet and instantly made Beth’s life brighter. A little slice of home in NYC and their friendship took off into new heights. Tyler was quickly introduced and was instantly embraced with open arms. Their favorite activities together include beach days, movie nights, eating exciting meals and spontaneous meet ups in their Brooklyn neighborhoods. It was an easy decision to ask Spencer to perform their ceremony because his writing is creative and meaningful and his passion for life radiates from within him. Beth and Tyler love Spencer to his core and they can’t wait for him to marry them!
