Airbnb or VRBO would be an alternative option as well. There are many places to stay. The ceremony/reception are in Mountain Village. If you plan to stay in Telluride, you will need to leverage the public gondola. Driving and parking at the venue is not a viable option.

Flight

Montrose Regional Airport

Likely the easiest airport to fly into. It is approximately 65 miles from Telluride, but the drive will be one of the most beautiful you ever do. Rental cars are not required. Shuttle information is provided. Their website indicates American, United, Southwest and Delta fly into Montrose.

Telluride Regional Airport via Denver Air Connection

Denver Air Connection does offer flights from Denver to Telluride (TEX), which is a small airport about 10 miles from the venue. They have a partnership with United as well. The flights are expensive and limited times, but worth considering.

Be warned - it is at least a 7 hour drive from DIA to Telluride. But it is a beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountains. If you do plan to drive from Denver, feel free to contact Lara for some recommendations on routes to take and places to spend the night.

Rental Cars are not required, unless you plan to explore the surrounding area. Other companies are available at the airports. Note that parking at Mountain Lodge is $20/day. A shuttle to/from the airport may be a better option.
