Every love story begins somewhere, and ours started at a cozy, charming Italian restaurant called Pesto. What was meant to be a simple dinner turned into hours of effortless conversation, instant comfort, and the kind of spark neither of us could forget. From that first night, something just felt right. Since then, our story has unfolded through moments big and small — the quiet nights in, the spontaneous adventures, and the memories made in places that now mean the world to us. Together, we’ve taken in the breathtaking views of Pikes Peak in Colorado, soaked up the music and soul of the French Quarter in New Orleans, and traveled all the way to Brazil, where Peter got to see Bea’s home, meet her family, and experience the warmth of the world she came from. Some of our favorite memories have been our ski trips to Vermont. There’s something special about flying down the slopes together during the day and then unwinding by a warm fire at night trading stories, sharing hot drinks, and feeling completely at home in each other’s company. Those winter trips became a part of us, a reminder that whether we’re adventuring or relaxing, it’s always better together. Each step brought us closer, strengthening a connection built on love, trust, and the unmistakable feeling of being exactly where we’re meant to be. And then came the moment that will forever be one of our favorite chapters. In a beautiful Japanese garden in Florida, standing in front of a little crossing bridge surrounded by calm water and peaceful greenery, Peter got down on one knee. His hands were shaking — partly from nerves, partly from the overwhelming emotion of asking the woman he loves to spend forever with him. Bea said yes, through happy tears and smiles, and in that moment, the world seemed to pause just for us. It wasn’t just an engagement. It was the start of the rest of our lives. Now we’re stepping into forever hand in hand, grateful for the journey that brought us here and excited for everything still ahead — the adventures, the growth, the family we’ll create, and all the beautiful moments we’ve yet to live. And we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with our friends and family in Rio, Brazil, as we say “I do.”
