Travel Note

Directions to The River View (for locals and drivers)

NOTE: There is free, private parking at the venue for anyone driving themselves. The closest Metro stop is Franconia-Springfield, at which point we recommend carpooling or ridesharing. From DC, MD, NoVa, the most direct route is I-95 South to exit 160 at the Occoquan River. Take VA-123 N (Ox Road) to the entrance of the park where you will turn off the main road. Follow the outlet road directly up to The River View building. If you find that 95 South is looking "red" on Google maps, consider the back roads: Exit the highway at Franconia-Springfield and take VA-289/Franconia-Springfield Pkwy toward Burke. At the Pohick Rd. exit, take a left on Hooes Road, then another left on Ox Rd. At the entrance to the park, turn off Ox Rd. and follow the outlet directly up to The River View building.

Flight

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

Reagan is the closest airport to the wedding festivities. It is 15 minutes by car from the recommended hotels in Springfield, Virginia and 30 minutes from the wedding venue. It's also on a metro line (blue/yellow) with rental car facilities on site. The other two airport options are Dulles (30 minutes from Springfield driving; also accessible via silver metro line) and Baltimore/Washington (one hour from Springfield).
