Travel Note

Remote Location for our Wedding Weekend

Our wedding will be located at the stunning Oro Ranch in Condon, Montana. Please note that Condon is a very small town, located a 1.5 hour drive outside of Missoula, so please consider whether you'd prefer to stay in Missoula or Condon area based on your needs and preferences. Condon is nestled in between the Mission and the Swan Mountain Ranges. Condon has 1 grocery store (Mission Mountains Mercantile) and a gas station, but the small neighboring town of Seeley Lake is only 20mins from Oro Ranch and has a few more lodging and restaurant options. There is spotty cell service in these areas, but most places offer WiFi. Accommodations in Seeley Lake and Condon will be more rustic. The beauty of Condon is the natural surroundings - we can't wait to share it with you! Missoula on the other hand is likely where you will arrive if you are flying in and renting a car. If you choose to stay here, Missoula has a lot of hotel options, restaurant options and all amenities you'd expect in any small "city". Check out our 'Things To Do' tab for our favorite Missoula spots! If staying in Condon or Seeley Lake, we suggest booking your lodging ASAP as rentals here fill up very quickly in the summers due to their lake access.

Travel Note

Getting to / from our wedding venue

Our wedding festivities will be located at the Oro Ranch. Aside from the wedding party staying on site, all guests are asked to make their own travel and lodging accommodations to/from the Oro Ranch. Designating a sober driver within your group and carpooling together might be an easy solution to ensure you get to/from your lodging location safely! Please remember that you could see elk, deer, bears and moose on your drive, so please drive slowly. Once the dancing dies down on the wedding night, all guests are also welcomed to camp on site at the Oro Ranch if they would prefer! Please provide your own camping gear if so.

Airbnb has a variety of lodging options in both Condon and Seeley Lake, MT. If you'd like to stay in these areas, we'd recommend booking something ASAP as most of these rentals book up a year in advance due to the lakes nearby and being popular summer destinations! Please note that Condon and Seeley Lake are about a 1.5 hour drive outside of Missoula.

Missoula Montana Airport

The best place to fly into will be the Missoula Montana Airport. You can also schedule to rent a car here for your stay or Uber into downtown Missoula.

There are a variety of rental car companies located at the Missoula Montana airport. For those flying here, renting a car will be useful as Uber's do exist within Missoula, but not far beyond city limits.

Holland Lake Campground

For those interested in camping with a tent, RV or trailer, Holland Lake Campground is very close to the Oro Ranch wedding venue, and a beautiful spot for a few nights! If you're in need of camping gear, you can rent items from any number of the Missoula gear rental shops, or the University of Montana's recreation department. We'd recommend reserving your camping spot and gear early, as summer rentals fill up fast here!
