Blackfoot River Outfitters
Per Kyle's recommendation, this fly shop and guide company would be a fun fly fishing experience while in western Montana. There are a ton (!!!) of local fly fishing outfitters in Missoula, so be sure to check out others too!
KettleHouse Amphitheater
Each summer, we try to go to at least 1 concert at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater. This is a special music venue, located outdoors along the Blackfoot River. If you're lucky enough to time your trip with a concert there, you won't regret it.
Holland Lake
Holland Lake is located in Condon, MT and is a stunning place to kayak, swim, and hike in the summer. You can also try to reserve a camp spot here!
Bigfork
The town of Bigfork is located on the shores of Flathead Lake, and is north of Missoula and Condon. This is a charming town, with cute accommodations and restaurants, and close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park.
Glacier National Park
Nothing can prepare you for the views in Glacier National Park. This is an incredible place to visit, but be sure to make your vehicle reservations months ahead of time, as spots fill up super fast in the summer months!
Blue Mountain Trailhead
The network of trails at Blue Mountain are endless and have a wide range lengths and views. A local favorite for us!
Plonk Missoula
We love Plonk for dinner and cocktails!! If you're able to get a table on the rooftop, you should.
The Camino
The Camino is in a great location of downtown Missoula, and has yummy Mexican tacos, guacamole, cocktails, etc.
Big Dipper Ice Cream
If we are ever missing on a summer night, you can probably find us here getting homemade ice cream.
Cucina Florabella
Florabella is a beautiful spot for Italian food, and we especially love their cafe in the morning time!
Seasons Restaurant
The Seasons Restaurant at the Double Arrow Lodge books up fast in the summer, but it's another nice spot in Seeley Lake area for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Lindey's Prime Steak House
If you're staying in Seeley Lake or Condon area, this may be a good option for dinner! Call ahead to make a reservation though, and sitting outside overlooking the lake is lovely.
