The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. Colorful is encouraged! All wedding festivities will be held outdoors, so please consider appropriate footwear to save your ankles.
Yes! Any guests are more than welcomed to camp onsite at Oro Ranch once the festivities wind down on the night of the wedding (Saturday). If you plan to do so, please only camp in the designated area, bring your own camping gear (or car camp!) and note that we'll need to be gone from Oro Ranch by 11am on Sunday.
Please choose your lodging location based on your needs. Missoula: Pros include a large variety of hotel options, plenty of restaurants, and any amenities you'd need. Cons include being a 1.5 hour drive away from the wedding venue at Oro Ranch. Seeley Lake: This is sort of the 'middle ground' location option because though it is a very small town, it has a few more lodging and food options while only being 20 minutes from the wedding venue at Oro Ranch. Condon: Pros include incredible access to hiking trails, lake swimming, boating options and being close to the wedding venue. Cons include limited and rustic lodging options and less restaurant / amenities in town. Big Fork & Whitefish: Pros include both being cute western towns, that are north of Missoula and Condon, but close to Glacier Park. This is about 45 mins from the wedding venue in Condon. **Please note that lodging options fill up very fast in both Condon and Seeley Lake in the summer months, so plan on booking your lodging location as soon as possible. The wedding party will be staying onsite at the Oro Ranch through the long weekend.
Please check your invite for your +1! Unfortunately we have a strict guest list due to capacity limits at the venue. We will only be able to accommodate the number of guests explicitly listed on the wedding invitation.
We kindly ask that there are no dogs during our time onsite at Oro Ranch.
Summer in Montana is amazing, but be prepared for any weather! If you plan on doing any outdoor adventuring, hiking clothes and boots are a great idea, along with a rain coat and lightweight puffy jacket. Summer days can get hot, usually between 80-100 degrees, and it cools off drastically at night due to no humidity, usually around 50-60 degrees. If you plan on hiking, having bear spray with you is a good idea!
Yes! The wedding and reception will all be held outdoors at the Oro Ranch. The reception will be held under a tent, but please plan accordingly for comfortable footwear and weather.
No, we encourage out-of-town guests to carpool if coming from Missoula. Please do not drink and drive, rather please plan accordingly and designate a sober driver, or join friends camping overnight!
TBD. Guests planning to stay overnight who want extra time to set up camp can arrive as early as 4pm, otherwise, plan to arrive between 5-5:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm.
TBD. Beverages will be served as guests arrive before the ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres before heading into dinner under the tent.
