One of our favorite spots! Especially during low tide for the tide pools. Beautiful, oceanside rocks with sweeping views and nice walking paths. The "Lobster Shack" ain't a bad place to get a cuppah chowdah aftahwahds
On Portland's "East End," a great place to promenade...There is a trail that starts in the old port and circles around to East End Beach. There are frequently food trucks here.
Higgins Beach is a beautiful beach facing the open ocean. Very popular for surfing. Gorgeous beach to walk as well with nice rocks and tide pools at low tide. Old Orchard Beach is another one of Kurt's favorite spots to surf.
Cute beach with a small playground for the babes
Fun, easy afternoon activity - short ferry ride from Portland. Cheapest boat ride in town. (FYI you're allowed to bring and drink canned alcohol on the ferry lol).
Endless options of good hikes here. Home to the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi, Mount Washington. A few of our favorite hikes we've done here are "Baldface" and Mount Chocorua, which can be found on AllTrails
Nice place to walk
Great people run the shop. Big fleet of bikes for rent
