Wedding Party

Colin Hall

Best Man

Colin and I have been friends since 7th grade, both decked out in all of the black clothing that we could find. We sought out the craziest, most aggressive metal we could, planned our pro skating careers, thought up new names for our next band, and spent endless hours locked into our favorite video games. Over the past 20 years, the black clothes have given way to a few colors, we listen to more than just metal, and we each have an onslaught of ambitious plans, but no matter how many changes come by, we've always been on the same page.

Melissa Cannon

Maid of Honor

Melissa is my younger sister, my expert-level 'Parks & Rec' quoter, my go-to Homegoods shopping partner, the mother of my fur baby's best friend, and the best thing since sliced-bread-slathered-with-layers-of-butter-and-peanut-butter (she gets it). We're as tight and as close as siblings get (she and her hubby live just a mile or so down the road, too!), and I couldn't imagine anyone else being my Maid of Honor.

Drew Bergquist

Groomsman

I've known Drew for 31-ish years. That's because he's my brother! When we were young, we dressed in pants that were way too big, spent hours making top notch skating videos, and practicing our guitar skills. We shared hairstyles for a good chunk of middle school, we shared a taste in music (still do), and of course share a very strange sense of humor with our sister Emily. We've been lucky enough to live close to each other for most of our lives and have always been just a call away to help with a side project, or meet with potentially creepy strangers to buy random things off of Craigslist.

Suzi Bryan

Bridesmaid

NDEs, Pixy Stix, Gwen Stefani, Daddy Twofoot: Are you triggered yet, Suzi? :D Suzi has been my BFFL since 7th grade — our friendship sparked by a mutual love for Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory." Since, we've obsessed over Good Charlotte together; we've been band geeks together; we've attended our fair share of emo and punk rock shows together; we've probably set the record for number of times beating all the "The Lord of the Rings" games on PS2; and we've mastered the long-distance relationship. She is my "cousin," after all. *written with <3 on the computer*

Kristen LeRoy

Groomswoman

Kristen and I have been friends since high school, and had the great benefit of being in the same circle of friends. Through some angst filled high school years, we also shared a passion for dressing in as much black clothing as possible as we ventured through the weirdness of living in Scottsdale, AZ. We kicked our friendship into high-gear during college when it seemed like somehow everyone lived in the same house in Tempe. We soon found a home away from home in the desert night life and spent any extra money or time we had on adventures through the state and beyond.

Perla Rodriguez

Bridesmaid

My college years would not have been the same without Perla. Perla and I may have attended the same high school, and she may have also been my drum major during my years spent marching with a tenor sax strapped to my neck, but it wasn't until we both attended NAU that we grew close. Since, we've been there for each other through all the ups and downs and all the many craft beers (and game nights!) in-between. She's my karaoke queen.
