Hotel recommendations, hikes, and our fave local haunts for our guests.

Hotel

Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa

6100 S. Kings Ranch Rd.
Gold Canyon, AZ
 480.982.9090

This is the closest resort to the ceremony + reception. It's about 20 minutes from the wedding site. Due to other weddings on the same weekend, space here may already be full.

Hotel

The Saguaro Scottsdale

4000 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
Scottsdale, AZ
 480.308.1100

We'll have our rehearsal dinner in Scottsdale. You'll also be closer to the airport, and there's plenty to do in Old Town!

Hotel

Talking Stick Resort

9800 Talking Stick Way
Scottsdale, AZ 85256
 (480) 850-7777

Our Rehearsal dinner will be in Scottsdale, and you won't be too far from the airport. There is plenty to do and see in Scottsdale!

Hotel

Aloft Scottsdale

4415 North Civic Center Plaza
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
 (480) 253-3700

We'll have our rehearsal dinner in Scottsdale. You'll also be closer to the airport, and there's plenty to do in Old Town!

Travel Note

Hike: Hieroglyphic Trail

For a short-and-sweet jaunt that features a waterfall and petroglyphs, head to Hieroglyphic Trail. Directions: East on U.S. 60, 5 miles from Apache Junction, North on Kings Ranch Road, 1.6 miles east on Baseline Ave, .3 miles north on Mohican Road, .3 miles west on Valley View Drive, north on Whitetail Road, .3 miles east on Cloudview Ave., .4 miles to dead end and Trailhead

Travel Note

Hike: Camelback

Camelback is a tough hike, but it's one of our favorites. Up for it? Bring plenty of water! Directions: For the more difficult Echo Canyon hike, search 'Echo Canyon Trailhead' on Google Maps. For a longer, slightly easier hike, hike Cholla @ 6131 E Cholla Ln.

Travel Note

Haunt: O.H.S.O.

O.H.S.O. Brewery + Distillery is canine heaven. Hang out on the patio among the pups, drink a local craft beer (we recommend Orange Blossom!) or a perfectly crafted Bloody Mary (make sure it has O.H.S.O.'s jalapeno vodka!), and soak in the perfect AZ 'winter' weather. Address: 4900 E. Indian School Rd.

Travel Note

Haunt: Four Peaks

For, hands down, the best beer Arizona has to offer (Kiltlifter, FTW!), head to Four Peaks, located in the heart of Tempe. Address: 1340 E. 8th St., #104

Travel Note

Haunt: Crescent Ballroom

Here, in downtown Phoenix, you'll find the trifecta, our holy trinity: live music (both in the lounge and in the ballroom), tasty Tex-Mex, and even better cocktails. Address: 308 N. 2nd Ave.

Travel Note

Haunt: La Santisima

For authentic Mexican food (including a extensive vegan menu) and massive margaritas, head directly to La Santisima in central Phoenix. Address: 1919 N. 16th St.
