Matron of Honor
Shannon is my sorority little sister and best friend. We first became friends 20 years ago when she selected me to be her big sis (it may have been after I bribed her with a steak dinner). From 2am dance party study breaks in college to singing Bon Jovi at the top of our lungs in the van while on a wine tour, life is never dull when we're together. I had the honor of serving as her Maid of Honor, and now I'm so grateful that she's mine - I can't imagine having anyone else stand up with me. I am truly blessed to have her in my life and love her so much.
Best Man
THEO AND REISER BECAME IMMEDIATE BFF WHEN THEY MET IN THE COLD, COLD QUAD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN DURING THE DARK YEARS OF ITE THAT MARKED OBAMA'S AMERICA. THE TWO HAD MANY THINGS IN COMMON, THE MOST CRUCIAL OF WHICH WAS BEING DUMB ENOUGH TO GO TO LAW SCHOOL. THEO PRODUCED THE SONGS THAT CATAPULTED REISER TO RAP STARDOM, AND THE PAIR SHARED MANY ADVENTURES TOGETHER ACROSS VARIED AND EXOTIC LOCALES. THEO WILL HAPPILY TELL YOU ABOUT THESE ONCE THE STATUTES OF LIMITATION EXPIRE. THEO LIVES IN HIS NATIVE SAN DIEGO WITH ONE DELIGHTFUL SLOVENIAN WOMAN, TWO INCORRIGIBLE CATS, AND A MEDIUM SIZED PYTHON. THE SLOVENIAN WOMAN AND PYTHON EACH HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT. THEO ENJOYS SURFING, SENDING STUPID MEMES TO REISER, AND SURFING MORE. HE THINKS JEANIE IS A WUSSY FOR REFUSING TO FIGHT BEARS. IN HIS SPARE TIME HE GOES TO WORK. REISER REFERS TO THEO AS HIS "MR. WORLDWIDE" AND OFTEN COMPARES THEO TO INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SENSATION PITBULL. THIS STARTED HAPPENING WAY BEFORE THEO WENT BALD AND SHAVED HIS HEAD AND THEO HAS NO IDEA WHY. HE REFUSED TO WEAR SHOES.
Bridesmaid
Marcy is one of my favorite things that has come out of my relationship with Myke! Married to one of Myke's best friends from college, Marcy has quickly become one of my besties. From adventures in New Orleans to slip and slides in her backyard, we have a blast! She is energetic, thoughtful, and an all around amazing person. I love her dearly and love having her stand up front with me on my wedding day!
Groomsman
Myke and Borger met at Pitt while participating in a mentorship program. They helped a little tyke named Chris Davis learn basic skills like how to tie his shoes and how often he should shower. (If you see Christopher at the wedding give him a pat on the head and tell him how proud you are of how far he’s come.) Marc rarely leaves his basement where he has an array of vintage and new pinball machines and a collection of action and grindhouse films. He is partial to Mexican food and BBQ and the meal selections are in his honor. He probably can’t see you if you stand still.
Bridesmaid
Mary and I first met when we were both working in the community college system, but quickly became friends outside of work too! She is still my go-to person when it comes to anything work related - I frequently text her for help with coming up with a name for a program or advice on how to word something just right. But what I appreciate even more is how she is always there for me, whether talking me off a ledge when I'm stressed, helping me move a bunk bed for REAL LIFE in pouring rain, or herding cats at a special event. I am so grateful for her!

Janik and Reiser met at Pitt after multiple people noted a vague resemblance and their origin from the same state with a population of 7.1 million people in 2000. After a visit to Janik’s Soviet style accommodations they bonded over a shared love of 1990s alternative music obscura and foods purchased from convenience store counters in the witching hour. Drew is a little bit like Cotton Eye Joe in that much of his life is shrouded in mystery. Where did he come from? Where did he go?
Bridesmaid
Kelly and I first met at W&M through our good friend (who later became her husband!), Brian. We've been friends ever since. She encouraged me for years to join the Junior League of Richmond, something I will be eternally grateful for. Kelly is one of the kindest and smartest people I know. She is forever lifting me up, pushing me to be my best self. I love her and am so honored to have her by my side on my special day.
Groomswoman
Jeanie is a wild feral child who is more comfortable in the woods and can often be seen attempting to fight bears on trail (unsuccessfully). When she deigns to come back to civilization she spends exactly one hour with Myke and Kristen participating in Halloween fun and other shenanigans that they come up with. They are foster/godparents to her cat, John Stamos (the most handsome kitty in the world), and have been great supporters of her wilderness adventures, so the least she could do is support their marriage. We promise to make her wear shoes.
Honor Attendant
Christina and I first became friends while at William & Mary, 20 years ago! She's been an amazing friend, fantastic cheerleader, and always there for me! From trips to the outlet mall while in college to retail therapy in Short Pump, time spent with Christina is never boring. I love her and am so grateful to have her in my bridal party!

Ryan is my younger brother by 5 years. Though at times growing up we'd squabble like all siblings do, at the end of the day, he's my baby brother and I love him dearly. One of my favorite times I spent with him was when I got to "chaperone" his high school trip to France - we got to spend 2 weeks traveling and exploring together. I also convinced Mom and Dad to let me give Ryan his middle name - Thomas - after Thomas's English Muffins (my favorite). It was definitely better than my other suggestion - Rambo!
Honor Attendant
Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me for many, many years. She's one of those friends where I can't remember how we first precisely met - probably through Shannon - but it just feels like we've been friends forever. She's always someone I can count on to tell me what I need to hear rather than what I want to hear, which is a true blessing. She's also competitive, which means we have a blast when we challenge the guys at trivia. I am so grateful that she will be with me on the big day in my Bridal Party!
Usher
Brendan and Myke are brothers, which unfortunately has thwarted all of their manifesto writing plans, for now. Brendan excels in fighting videogames but is not very good at most of the other ones, so you can probably beat him in Goldeneye. He enjoys non-fiction about historical periods where people wore monocles and engaged in bare-knuckle boxing under the London Prize Ring Rules. He can be found engaged in ministrations of the health and well being of the population of Lynchburg or re-arranging his patio furniture and décor.
Junior Bridesmaid
McKenna is the shrewd operator of a woman owned small business that received a prize at a craft fair. She is skilled with the hoverboard and has the third largest Squishmallow collection in the DMV region. Her slip' n 'slide skills are also on point. It’s probably best if you keep her away from your microwave.
Ring Bearer
George possesses a number of rare Fortnite skins. He is a YouTube connoisseur and Nerf blaster expert. If you have questions about a particular World War 2 battle, do not hesitate to ask. He knows very little of the Hundred Years War and that’s something of a touchy issue.
Flower Girl
Kathryn is the adorable and spunky daughter of Brian and Kelly Cannon. I went with her for her first manicure, and now she's hooked! She loves unicorns and sparkles - and of course, Bluey. Aunt KJ is trying her hardest to make sure Brian doesn't turn her into a Cowboys fan.
Ring Bearer
A fellow Lego aficionado, Bennett is the son of my dear friends, Kelly and Brian Cannon. He loves playing soccer - and is fantastic at it! He even got Myke to come to a Kickers game for his birthday - and Myke had fun! Look for him on the pitch for the 2034 World Cup! Bennett is also a fantastic big brother to Kathryn.
Flower Girl
I first met Zella in the hospital when she was about 8 hours old. She is the precious daughter of Shannon and Hamilton, and one of the lights in my life. Myke and I love our special days with Zella - from climbing on playgrounds to checking out cool lizards at the Science Museum.
Officiant
Chad is an enigmatic renaissance man succeeding at being a positive force. Chad is the proprietor of Wonderland, a beloved Richmond nightspot that will be home to the lively after party. Chad and Wonderland were once awarded the extremely prestigious title of “Worst Service Ever” by a random review on Yelp. Chad spends much of his free time with the charity Punks for Presents that provides holiday and year-round gifts for sick children in the Children’s Hospital.
