It is entirely up to you! We would love to have your kids join us for the ceremony and reception - and we'll have a special area set up with activities just for them! That said, we recognize that Mom and Dad may want an evening to let loose and have fun without the kiddos in tow. We're happy to support you in whichever route you go! The after-party is taking place at a bar and therefore only 21 and up. If you do bring the kids but need help with a babysitter at the hotel, please let Kristen know. Her network of Richmond moms will help you get someone great!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of street parking in the few blocks around the venue. If you are staying at a hotel, we'd suggest leaving your car there and either walking to the overlook (fair warning, it is uphill), using the hotel shuttle, or taking an Uber/Lyft. Scooters and pedicabs are also a fun way to get around!

We'll have a wide variety of food options, but if you have a severe food allergy, please let Kristen know so she can make sure the caterers are aware.
