Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
While we are working on transportation to the Ceremony and Reception, renting a car will allow you flexibility and give you the weekend to explore our surrounding areas! Please note that Montrose is a very rural area and is very limited in terms of public transportation. Additionally, there are only 2 or 3 ubers available at a time.

Can I fly into Denver and drive to Montrose?
Answer
Absolutely, just know you will be looking at around a 5-hour drive. If you do drive, definitely take 285 and not I-70. I-70 is prone to large delays, accidents, and heavy commercial traffic. Taking 285 also allows for a much more scenic route. This is a great way to see the beautiful state of Colorado. Remember, the lanes on a mountain road are the same as any other road you've driven on and people do it everyday. Just take your time and don't ride your brakes; the posted speed limits are safe for the downhill grade and curves. If you have any questions or concerns about this drive, reach out to the bride. All events are child-free, ensuring an elegant and adult-focused celebration for our guests.

What is the choose your own adventure option in the schedule?
Answer
This is our way of giving guests the small-town experience while waiting for the Reception. Participation is totally optional if you want to do your own thing, but we understand long breaks can be tricky in a new place during a wedding. We have created three different experiences to try and cater to everyone's vibes. If you have any questions or want recomendations, reach out to the bride!

Will we be returned to the hotel before the Adventure options?
Answer
Yes! Everyone should have around an hour to rest and get changed before their selected event. You are also welcome to do your own thing!

Can I attend more than one adventure?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to timing, you can only join one group. However, those doing the activity will be in the same area as the bar crawl and can easily meet up with others.

Legalization in Colorado?
Answer
Montrose County still does not allow the selling of THC products, so if you are looking to partake, you will need to stop in the next town over, Ridgeway. PLEASE BE AWARE that there are still several products in the city of Montrose. Check ALL LABELS, especially for our active duty folks; we don't want any accidents. A lot of these products do not appear to have CBD/THC, etc.

Altitude Sickness

We understand a lot of our guests are coming from close to sea level, and altitude sickness is a very real thing that people experience. The best thing you can do is HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE. We will also have Tums on hand for anyone feeling unwell, as they are known to help with altitude sickness.
