I've never traveled to another country and I have no idea what I'm doing. Where do I start?

How can I stay connected with Abigail/Nick while in Ireland?

Answer

We recommend downloading WhatsApp before your trip! It’s the most popular messaging app in Ireland and works seamlessly over Wi-Fi, so you can stay in touch without needing an international phone plan. You can use your regular U.S. number to text, call, and share photos. It's perfect for checking in with fellow guests, coordinating plans, or just sending us a cute selfie. Feel free to add Abigail and/or Nick on WhatsApp via our regular phone numbers before you travel so we can all stay connected while abroad!

What is the weather like in Ireland?

Answer

Bring a coat! The average temperature for Belle Isle this time of year is around 40 F.

Will we be outside for the wedding?

Answer

While we're planning for the ceremony itself to be held indoors, there will be a moment in the evening when we are all briefly outside. When that moment comes, guests will be given time to grab their coats.

Will food be provided?

Answer

The following meals will be provided for all guests. 12.27.2025 Dinner 12.28.2025 Breakfast Dinner 12.29.2025 Breakfast **While a formal lunch meal will not be served on 12.28, light snacks will be available for guests in the castle kitchen.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at Belle Isle on the castle property.

Will there be irons on-site so I can get the wrinkles out of my clothes?

Answer

Yes! There will be multiple steamers and irons available specifically for guests.

Do I need to pay for my room?

Answer

No, guests staying with us from Saturday, December 27 - Monday, December 29 do not need to pay for lodging unless they opt out of the accommodation we provide or fail to RSVP by the deadline.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to accomodation restrictions, we are not allowing plus ones at this time unless specified in your invitation.

We are keeping our celebration 21+. Thank you for your understanding!

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

The use of tobacco products is allowed in designated areas outside. Marijuana is illegal in Ireland.

A big part of our relationship has been built on a mutual love for exploring new things, such as music, travel, and food. By having our wedding abroad, we not only get to do the things we love but we also get to bring along the people we love most to experience it with us. We hope you'll join us in this adventure!
