to have and to hold

We met in 2019, working part-time at a dog boarding facility while both of us were in college at CU Boulder. We bonded over muddy paw prints, squeaky toys, and the occasional escaped golden retriever. What started as casual banter between shifts turned into long conversations, shared snacks, and a growing connection. Our mutual love for dogs brought us together, and now we share our lives (and our furniture) with two of our own pups—Flapjack and Willow. Since those early days, we’ve built a life full of laughter, late-night talks, cross-country flights, exploring good food and good music, and plenty of dog hair. Now, years later, we’re excited to take the next step. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
