Built in the 17th-century, this is one of the most distinctive historic landmarks in Gdansk.
We are not huge museum fanatics but this was such a memorable museum devoted to the Polish experience during the second World War. If you have time, we would recommend checking it out!
100cznia is a modern collection of bars and restaurants made out of old shipping containers. Located near the Gdansk shipyard which is infamous for the rise of the Solidarity movement.
Even though you will get the opportunity to visit this church during our wedding ceremony, we definitely suggest making time during your visit to climb up the tower. At the top there is an observation deck which has an amazing view of the city!
Tour the Motława River which runs through Old Town. We rented our own paddle boat but there are plenty of other boats/tours you can rent as well!
Oscypek is a traditional, smoked, hard cheese made from sheep's milk in the Tatra Mountains. It is typically served warm with a cranberry sauce. You can usually find someone serving this on the street under the main archway on Dlugi Street leading to the river!
A classic Polish street food you must try! These are toasted open-face sandwiches made of a sliced baguette topped with sautéed white mushrooms, cheese and sometimes other ingredients such as ham. Served hot with ketchup, it has been a popular street food in Poland since the 1970s.
This is a 2024 Michelin selected restaurant which has unexpected combinations of products or a new version of a well-known Polish classic. We loved our experience here and are hoping it gains the love and attention of our guests and a Michelin star one day :)
A small cozy cocktail bar, we recommend making a reservation!
A cute unique, craft cocktail bar right along the river with indoor/outdoor seating. This is directly translated to "little art cocktail bar".
A 90s videogame themed quirky cocktail bar with some of our favorite unique craft cocktails and amazing service!
Our absolute favorite cocktail bar in Gdansk, this is a must when visiting Gdansk! Its located in an old dim and cozy cellar where every drink has history and comes with a story.
Pączki are those deep-fried pieces of dough everyone knows and loves. Many places sell these but we think this place is the best- they sell them warm and have the best flavors!
