We will be getting married in Glasgow, Scotland. For our American guests, we recommend flying in to Glasgow airport, which is a quick 15 minute drive to the City Center.
We do not plan to book hotel blocks to give guests more flexibility in where they'd like to stay. However, we recommend staying in a hotel or Airbnb in two locations:
1) The West End of Glasgow: This is a beautiful and historic part of the city that encompasses the area near University of Glasgow, the Oran Mor (our venue!), and Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Byers Road is the bustling main street of the West End with lots of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. We have linked the Glasgow Grosvenor (formerly the Hilton) as one hotel option in the West End.
2) Glasgow City Centre near George Square: This is the main downtown area of the city, and is the part of the city where our Welcome Evening will be held. We have linked the Ibis Styles Hotel as one hotel option in the vibrant City Centre area.
